pls help me figure out how to wear my hair

i thought about doing hair down but it was just too stressful to think about getting it RIGHT, esp in the humidity and my hair has some curl/frizz in those circumstances. the funny thing was i wasn''t in love with how the gal did my hair....but whatever, i had more important things to worry about like not tripping down the aisle!

i was also running 15 min late!

i love the hair down with orchids in it shots....jennifer aniston''s shot is a bit too casual for me. kind of like how britney''s wedding hair looked a bit like bedhead! for weddings i think a bit more polish is necessary.

to be honest - i am more than happy with wearing the hair down. it really feels most like myself.

so hair down it is.

i bought an ivory, elbow-length, one layer veil on ebay a couple of days ago as well as some rhinestone / pearl flower hair pins so i can use either to "dress up" the style if i need to. will try to attach the pic of the pins - the veil was attached as a .pdf in one of the previous posts.

thanks everyone for having been so helpful and supportive during my "style-crisis". it is too funny - usually i ALWAYS seem to know what i want and what works best for me but with that wedding subject i find myself a little self-conscious.

on saturday morning i had my appointment with the stylist who OF COURSE (although i showed her some pictures of the styles i liked and my dress beforehand) styled my hair in the most "prom" way imaginable - a really, really corny half-updo that just looked plain wrong on me. after telling her that i wanted something more laid back, natural and the hair down, she started complaining about my hair that was so soft (is that a bad thing, really?) and - even worse - it is not even colored (how DARE i?

). i just told her with a grin i was sorry but i just liked the color and texture as it is.

it was too funny. we did not really have the greatest chemistry - butas fi and i are getting married in two weeks i have no time (let alone nerves) to look for someone else. the most important thing: with your support i was able to figure out what i want - so it doesn't really affect me. afterwards she just styled it the way i wanted it and although she probably thinks i am an arrogant nutcase with no taste she did a good job and it looked o.k.. it will all be good i guess.
