Lol! Not intentionally I assure you! I thought they were some pretty good looking flats!

Wedding planning...the planning is great. Done basically. I don''t really have much to do to be honest. It''s my dad that''s the problem. However I will say that the guest list is probably going to go down by around half. It''s a long convoluted story, and I''m not going to bore you with it, but things are...going.

In other news, my reset should be done VERY soon. VERY VERY soon. Maybe even tomorrow?

On a good day, I'm a pretty crappy PSer and I've been MIA a lot more than usual lately so I know I've missed a lot of the updates you've probably given. But I do know your dad was being a major PITA at one point so I'm sorry you're still having to deal with some of this stuff. I'm sure it'll work it self out and you and FI will enjoy a fantabulous Vegas wedding! Regarding the reset....yipee! Tomorrow, maybe?! I will definitely need to check in tomorrow for any sparkly good news you might have to share with us

Lol. Well I haven''t been doing much updating. School has gotten kind of crazy since I''ve been slacking totally and completely this semester, and I''ve been venting to peeps off of PS. So it''s been kind of on the down low lately, but very shortly I''m going to have to stand on my own two feet and say things to my dad that I don''t really know how to say. It should be interesting.

We''ll just say this: We''ve been seriously considering elopement.

Freke, ha! Funny how quickly school drops to the bottom of the priority list, huh?! I'm in school too and let me tell you this past semester was seriously painful! I couldn't concentrate and truth be told, I really didn't care about anything other than wedding planning and house hunting much less stupid discussions and papers

Good luck with that conversation with your dad; it doesn't sound like it's going to be an easy one. FWIW here's my .02, at the end of the day, you and FI have to do what's best for you and if that means an elopement then so be it, but honestly Liz, don't let others' negativity influence your decisions. Truth be told, my parents really wanted DH and I to get married locally. I'm the first of two daughters and DH and I have been together for almost 10 years so having a big wedding surrounded by tons of family and friends is how my mom and dad pictured our wedding day. Even though DH and I had talked about a DW for years, my parents were still surprised and originally less than enthusiastic about our decision. But, in the end they came around, saw our vision and loved it. DH's mom, on the other, hand, is a whole other story. I guess the moral of the story is you win some and you lose some; what matters in the end is that do what feels right for you, otherwise you'll have regrets and who want that, right?!

Sorry for the unsolicited advice, but after everything you've been through I really just want you to be happy and be able to enjoy the wedding of your dreams whatever that means to you and FI!
