POLL - Round or Cushion shape halo with RB center stone

Need help deciding between a Round halo and Cushion halo with a RB center stone. If I move forward with the round I need help deciding if I should include Miligrain between the center stone and halo.

If I move forward with the cushion halo I've already decided I would have it prong set so the diamond and halo bleed together and help create an illusion of a cushion cut diamond.

I think the cushion one is too square. It could be a more rounded cushion and I would like it better. Have them adjust that CAD. That is a square with rounded corners. I would want each side to be curved like a cushion should be.

The Vatche Grace is a great example of a good shaped cushion halo. I'd probably go with it over having one custom made if I wanted a cushion halo. Although I do not know if they will make it bezel set or not.

Yes, I saw that...we were thinking the same thing and Gypsy said +1, too, I think! She needs to give the Vatche Grace pic to ERD.

Absolutely agree with you regarding the shape of the cushion halo. I've already committed to ERD but I'm confident they can make this change.

Do you agree that no bezel is the way to go if I decide to move forward with the cushion halo? I want my RB to give the illusion of a cushion cut diamond and the bezel seems to do just the opposite.

If a cushion cut is what you want to give the illusion of I wouldn't bezel it and I thinks its looks the nicest of all pics imo.
