I just put it in the freezer and snapped a shot. Luckily there is a light in the freezer.

Here are some shots with the band, it is .65 ct. I showed the set to my parents last night when I told them I planned on asking her soon. My mother loved the ring and both of my parents are very excited. They are already talking about grandsons (they have a few grand daughters but no grandsons yet).

1.81 is more than a "little" over 1ct!!

She is going to be thrilled and suprised on all counts, you can''t torture her with the wait for too long! The band is great too. It is something she can wear nicely by itself if she doesn''t want to wear the ering all the time.

After changing her mind several times she got it narrowed down to this set and somthing the jeweler had from an estate. The estate ring was nice but it didn''t have the baguettes she likes so much. Also the estate ring had a pear center stone. She liked the pear because at 1ct it looked bigger than the 1ct round. Since I increased the size of the round center stone, I think she''ll forget all about that pear! This is her "forever" ring, NO upgrades.

Beautiful ring. I love baguettes with rounds since they give a different kind of flashy sparkle.
