I am listing some stones on DB. Some precision cuts from Gene, Barry, and others, as well as some others I've picked up along the way.
Sorry that the descriptions in the title are messed up - sent a message to DB admin and waiting for directions on how to fix. So far, this is what has been listed:

BB Color Change Sapphire, dramatic color change, excellent polish and supernova cutting

Gene Malaya Garnet, 9/10 rating, a very bright stone - orange to slightly brownish orange depending on the light

Mozambique Spess cut by John Rhoads of D&J Rare Gems. A darker cognac stone indoor low light but in bright light glows almost red

Adding a few more. Also, I am selling these stones because I had these grand ideas that I was going to set them - all. Somewhere along the way, I realized that there are very few I actually want to set, and the rest just sit there. So I'm paring down my stones and letting them go to happy homes where they will be cherished. They are all wonderful stones and I had a hard time deciding to let them go.

A pretty little spessartite, a good starter stone:

Some BB tourmalines:

Oh, and if anyone wants to teach me how to have it read right in the DB description title, please feel free!

:wavey:

It would assist if you provided ct size and measurements. :praise:

Thanks MR. I incorrectly assumed that if folks were interested, they would click through to DB and get the info. Here it is:

1.35 ct unheated, color change Umba Sapphire cut by BB in his Supernova cut. Dimensions are 7.5 x 5.8mm. $630 Barry's quote about this stone:
"The Umba sapphire is quite a stone. You have to take it out of the glass case and get outside to get the best
color change, but the indoor color is beautiful anyway. So many color-change stones go from ugly to uglier,
but this one is just beautiful."

2.8 ct, Malayan Garnet cut by Gene Flannigan. (I don't know the name of his cut) 8.55 x 8mm. He rates stone 9/10. $420.

You weren't kidding when you said you had good stuff! I love them all!

This is such a fun past time...It would be fun if we could figure out how to do it to swap stones, because I've had my eye on your Tanzanian Spess trillion... :naughty:
