To just give perspective this is actually the same setting that holds my tourmaline.

SB, your ring is just

TY Msop and Acin for the ring love :)) This ring in particular is very special to me as I had it made with my daughter in mind. She is getting to be a big little girl and I like jewelry to mark a milestone or turning point in life. Most of my big pieces have this sort of symbolic value to me. I really wanted something whimsical and girly for my little princess. Once Ari showed me this setting I knew it would be perfect though we had to do some alternations for an EC cut.

Actually, my ring is from KFK Jewelers, not Single Stone.

I was at SS a month or so ago. Tried on a million things. These were my favorites!

Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.. do you have any more info on the first ring, specs...? was it prong and kind of bezel set? it is totally gorgeous, and huuuuggeee :lickout:

Wow! I don't know that I've ever seen a thread with so many stunning rings by one maker, so intricate in their detail, they ooze vintage appeal. Kudos to Single stone for doing it consistently right! And some of these old cut stones are to die for. I want to see more of all of them. Just fantastic. Thank you for posting!

I took this from the SS website:
4.35ct J/SI1 old European cut diamond EGL certified and set in an 18kt yellow gold hand crafted "Single Stone" mounting.

It was prong set.

I'm a size 7 for size comparison so yeah, that puppy is HUGE!

Wowzers, thanks! A girl can dream, right??

Lorrisey-Those are To die for!! On the large bezel set round eternity, do you know what size each stone was?

The ring was about 3mm ish. Perfect size for eternity I thought. Big enough to be noticed, but still cozy between the fingers and still slim enough to stack or pair with an e-ring.

I was so taken by Yennyfire's ring that I went to Greenwich Jewelers in NYC to try it on myself. It is set with a 2.37 cushion. Beautiful! I was quoted $8,125 to reset my round 2ct stone into this new style setting.

I think I'm too new to post photos of how it looked on my hand but will post them eventually.

Big spark, I'd love to see the ring on your hand. It truly is a gorgeous setting!
