Hello

I was wondering if anyone have used since1910.com to purchase their engagement ring and most importantly used their price matching guarantee? On their website they have listed qualified competitor which includes BN, JA, Union Diamond and Mondera. I've found the exact diamond from b2cjewels.com and usacerteddiamonds.com and they are listed considerably less than since1910.com I really have my heart set on proposing to my gf with a tacori 2620. I live in CA and I am trying to save as much as possible which is why I am looking to buy the ring and diamond online to save on the tax. I have heard really bad reviews from RB and they are based in Ca so that would be another $300 added in taxes to the ring. Since1910.com seem to be very reputable and they are a platinum tacori dealer so i prefer to buy the ring and diamond together since the ring will be custom made to ensure the diamond fits perfectly. I do however have no problems buying the tacori ring and diamond separately as my main objective is to save as much as possible for exactly what I want. Any input will be appreciated. Here are the listings for the diamond in question

Some places offer diamonds that are not in-house. They are drop shipped stones from locations other than their in-house inventory. With such as stone many vendors have access to market it so, you'll see the same stone from multiple vendors.

Talk to the vendor about setting an outside stone in the tacori 2620.

One of the issues you might face is the vendor will not guarantee the diamond during the setting process if it is an outside stone.
Someone else may be able to chime in but I'm pretty certain you can get insurance for the setting process.

Best of luck with your project!

I would certainly ask since1910 if they can price match or at least come a lot closer to the other prices. These vendors offer
different levels of services and that is reflected in the price. Doesnt hurt to ask and see what they can do. Makes it easier
to work through one vendor.

Allow me to clarify some things. I suspect that since1910.com is using drop ship diamonds. If you look closely on the the specs from each diamond they are all the same including the exact measurements of the diamond. I do intend on asking them if they would match the prices from other online retailers not listed on their own website but I do not intend to buy a ring until a few more months so I just want to get all my research done first. thanks
