Prices going up, again!

I'm so sad to learn that BGD's eternity bands have been priced up significantly, even though they are not yet reflected on the website.
With the popular dream half eternity band, it's now $25xx even though the website still advertises it as $18xx. That's a HUGE increase! And I even thought I was smart to be getting it before an increase in price... turns out I'm still too late

All of their setting and bands went up ~65%. I'm still not sure why they've gone up so much. Other places have not gone up that much.

That should have said all of their diamond settings and wedding bands have gone up.

I'm sorry for being whiney. But. I expressed my concern to DH about price increases this weekend and there is a diamond I absolutely love... and need well, I finally warmed him up to the diamond. It went up 20% on monday and I KNOW he won't go for that anymore.

I feel like this about diamonds right now.

Bummer! How do you know the price went up if it's not on the website? Shouldn't they still honor the old price if it hasn't changed yet?

Legally no. Even without a disclaimer a price isn't an offer, so a consumer saying they want to buy at that price isn't an acceptance.

But they really should fix whatever issue they have with updating prices in a timely manner/all their prices at the same time.

OMG I thought this was from June 2012 not 2011 and almost went and bought a few things that I've been eyeing.

I wish, honestly, they would go down a bit more but I don't see that happening. If people are buying a diamond that was $500 that inflated to $900.. why go down to $700 or even $800? I dunno.
