Pricing on 1.8 ct round brilliant diamond

I told the jeweler I've been working with that I'd like my round diamond to meet the standards outlined below.

-Triple ex and excellent HCA score of 2 of lower
-at lowest G color and VS2 or better
-1.7 to 1.99 ct

he came back and said this would cost around $22,500. Is that a good price? Should I try to bargain him down?

The last stone we looked at was 1.86 ct, triple ex, G color VS2 with high/crappy HCA scores. He quoted a price of $21,600 for that one.

What do you guys think?
