Procrastinating On The Last Paper I Will Ever Write! (Unless I Go To Grad School, That Is!)

I can''t bring myself to finish writing the last paper I will ever have to write! (Unless I decide to go to grad school. If there are any grad schools that don''t make you write papers, let me know, okay?) It''s an APA style write up of a study I''ve been a research assistant for this semester...blah!

There is no point to this post, except for the fact that it allowed me to procrastinate even more. I''ve read all the PS boards, I''ve read the newspaper, I checked FB and MySpace...I can''t buy anymore clothes online this week so that rules online shopping out. I went and got McDonald''s breakfast (bad I know but it''s exam week so I''m allowed!). I''m up to date on all my favorite blogs...I played with my cats, I tried on my new sporty running gear and ran down the hall in it...I cleaned the living room. I tried on my new boots and walked around in them...and I made this pointless thread...I think that''s all I can do!

Does this mean I have to write my paper now?

Hey Thing2, how about a little competition to keep things rolling? I''m writing my paper (or trying to at least) too, and this is the one paper that I''ve been holding off forever. I find that I can get to working if I just really concentrate and get myself in "the zone." I''ll race you to see who can finish writing a page first! How much more do you have to work on?

Yay! Congratulations! Thanks to you, I now have almost 8 pages too.

Although it might only be half the fun for you if you have to go work after finishing a paper.

But the day is young...and it''s almost Friday night.

Yes, I''m in grad school. I guess I''m paying for it now at the end of the semester cuz I didn''t have to take the three exams and still submit several write ups like the undergrads did in one of my classes.

I hear ya!!

I have my management report dissertation due in, in 5 weeks and all I seem to do is stare at blank pages. My major hate in life is doing the laundry, but its amazing how tempting and enjoyable doing that is in comparison with actually writing a paper.

Why is it the last hurdle is always the hardest to jump?

As of 7pm last night my paper has gotten nowhere... I baked some more cookies, did two loads of laundry, and played videogames before going to bed. Po, that thing about last hurdles are so true! Time to rise and write....

I did have it all picked out (the one in the bargain thread) but then I tried it on last night and had second thoughts! But I ended up wearing it after all! It is totally me-I''m glad you liked it and thought so, too!

Mine was due yesterday so I am DONE! But onavacation has a ways to go!\
