I looked up the Asscher--- it is .27 G vvs... but the cut isn''t perfect----but still a little schparkly!

I have yet to do a family shot of all the pretties... I want to do one so i could move them around in photoshop and create some diff combos!

earring project is still in progress-- i''m still looking for my match....again

Necklace project: I have to get over to the jewelers to get that going.... sigh... I have been concentrating on my save the dates.... and work and life stuff instead

I can''t wait to get it going though... i''m getting a littlediscouraged ab the project.

i am finnnalllly gettng this necklace started. I am in contacts with a jeweler and will be emailing him ideas. I took a few new shots for scale.

just something I was playing with real quick--- I was thinking adding some small gold shapes with diamonds in them.. to add some more oooomf to the necklace. these are not exactly a great representation of the size of them--- or placement... but have a look see and let me know what you think?

I think I would want the square stone turned like a diamond shape above the pear, and maybe 1 round above that. I am not sure I''d have 4 stones in the drop part. But I am sure it will be beautiful however you decide!

UPDATE:
I started the project in motion last month....

Here is the first CAD i got today .
i''m not sure i like the spaceing on the top part of the necklace were the leaves are... maybe it need to be more spread out? so it will spread out more on my neck/?? other than that I think its cute but I Love almost everything wen it comes to diamonds

What do I think??? I think that it is GORGEOUS!!!
As for the spacing, I see what you mean but it is hard to imagine it spaced out more...I love the way it looks now, though.
Halo? I think that might look pretty, but again, it is hard for me to picture it.

I think you are headed in the right direction!How about a pendant done in the Debeers style...they scatter several uncut diamonds in a pendant of yellow gold or plat. and hammer or pattern the backround to bring out the glow of the diamonds.Their web site has several examples.I myself like your diamonds all lined up in a row as you have displayed them here.

I think it looks great. I might reverse the direction of the ''leaves'' so that all the attention is drawn down, toward the pear. Haloing the OMC may be overwhelming, but it''s probably worth seeing on a photoshop/cad version.
