I''ve found who I think is the custom designer of my dreams.... will reveal their name and work when it''s all done, and review everyone else I''ve come into contact with =)

I''m getting a ring like this made- (daniel k rosebud)

https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/daniel-k-ring-pics-not-mine-but-i-can-dream.36909/

Some changes I''ve already decided on is only doing 3/4 eternity for sizing purposes, and flattening the bottom donut to allow the wedding band to sit flush.
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/our-dimend-scaasi-maytal-hannah-collaboration.103216/ Kind of like this!

I''ve also asked that the band ever so slightly taper in towards the middle (kind of like the ritani endless love without the halo does),

Here come the questions!

1. If you were to make any additional changes to this ring, what would you do?

2. I love pink (light pink (no purple in it)), can you think of a creative way to subtly incorporate some pink into this design? Is there anyway to hide pink in the setting to reflect pink into the center diamond? I want the pink to be subtle... since I don''t want to ever get sick of it! I am okay with leaving pink out of the ring.. it''s just a thought!

3. How should I design the band? Should I incorporate pink into the band instead?

4. How can I design a wedding band for FF that''s manly, but echoes some sort of design sentiment as my rings? He wants the ring to be not too shiny (I think he means satin finish), and he wants the ring to be easy to clean (he''s going to be a doctor one day).

5. We have considered one way of tying the two bands together in terms of cohesiveness by engraving our initials inside the band. Should I consider this? will my ring be too thin to engrave? (I like the thin/ dainty bands!)

6. If I smash down the donut, and make the botton part of the ring a solid band instead of a donut- will it make the ring less strong? will the diamonds on the side scratch up the band?

Phew, did you get through it all? =) I hope I''m not being annoying! Just wanted to clarify some things and ask for all your wonderful help since this is my first time!

Hi Rosebud :-)

I don't really think the ring needs any other changes - it will look perfect! I don't have a lot of comments on anything other than the donut. If you are going to want your wb to sit flush, you could just get rid of it all together?

Because really, the WB will cover it up AND you are right - the diamonds will scratch up your weddig band. Mine definitely do.

I don't really care though, but if that is a concern for you, I'd just get rid of them.

Oh and if you want, you could put in a surprise hidden pink diamond inside the band? Or maybe the rosebud 'cuppy' head could be pink diamonds, although I'm not sure if that would reflect pink into your centre stone.

It will be a beautiful ring though!! I haven't looked back and I'm sure you'll feel the same!

yay!! thank you for your advice! =) you are awesome!

As for your question in my other thread- I'm getting mine made by Bridget Durnell =)
