He’s a 155 lb Leonberger. I have more photos of this dog on my phone than any human. Not even close.

I guess I had DSS with dogs too. He definitely cured my dog-shrinkage syndrome! I do not feel I need to go bigger!

I just found these photos after asking about your dog in another thread (one about my dog, Hero). Your dog is gorgeous! I belong to a Golden Retriever forum because the first dog I had after I was married was a Golden. I was active on that forum for years and became "close" to a man who had a Golden and a Leonberger. We bonded because my Newfie and his Leonberger had a lot in common. They are wonderful, wonderful dogs with great bodies and equally great temperaments! Lucky you!

Hugs,
Deb :wavey:

Can you see both dogs? I guess we discovered who is scratching the book cases!

It was THE CAT. Its always THE CAT. Even when there isn't one...

I posted this one as an update in the thread I originally created when we got this little guy. First thing in the morning, apparently I've not been paying him enough attention because I've been asleep for the last 6 hours...

C7FF8D7A-AC1F-45D8-8D21-AEBF5412A2B5.jpeg My Bailey Bean...I adopted him from a shelter who rescued him from the carcass of a cow in Missouri when he was two months old with his brothers and sister. His mother was a yellow lab and father was a German Shepard..hence the wonky ears..I adopted him at three months old with mange and roundworm. He had only patches of hair and lots of bald spots. I slept with him in my kitchen because I didn’t want him in the other areas of the house until I could get the mange healed and roundworm gone. His hair started growing in..boy did it grow! I have fluffy white hair blowing everywhere on dark wood floors..:wall: He’s almost ten years old and he’s spoiled rotten!

I love the one ear up and one down!

Thank you! We love it too..I put this one on Facebook on Halloween titled “Who needs a costume!” His ears go every which way like old time tv antennas!

This is Tess. She’s a Blue Point Ragdoll, about 8 yrs old. We’ve been on a journey together with ups and downs, starting when I adopted her around two years ago. She is a sweet and loving girl, affectionate and playful, and is a lap-cat who has the most adorable “trillling” purr. That’s the up side.

The down side is that she hates other cats! Loathes them. Loves dogs of all shapes and sizes but cannot live with other cats! She spends a lot of time hiding from them. This is a challenge because I had adopted her after a year of doing cat rescue & fostering work. I finally got all my fosters adopted and it was just Tess and me for a while. She was happy! But then one of the “senior” foster/adoption cats was returned back to me (on her deathbed, but that’s another story and she’s fine now, thank goodness). Tess hates her! Runs away! Hisses! Oh the drama!

I’m stuck. Tess is a miracle cat, full of energy and precious play, and so sweet when the senior cat is out of sight. But the senior is no longer adoptable and will simply live out her last days with me (I’m the only one who can get her to eat) and my decision to try to placate them both is a stressful one - but I’m going to live up to my commitment to each of them.

Tess needs a new home. Obviously this stress has been going on for a while and my heart breaks to think of her leaving, but I remain hopeful that she will find happiness, in a home with no other cats. Please PSers, if you know of anyone who needs a ragdoll cat, would you mind sharing her photo? I’m in Florida but transport is possible for the right family. She deserves more than I’m in the position to give but I will never allow her to be in a shelter cage again. I’m sure a happy-ever-after is possible somehow.

My goodness Tess is such a love! And her tongue sticking out...so freaking precious! My kitties do this too. Just breaks me up every single time with how adorable it is. Your Tess is a beauty @InsecureSweetGirl. :kiss2:

Thanks so much Missy! She is the most Gossamer cat I’ve ever touched! The tongue thing is called a “blep” apparently. I learned that today, lol!

Bailey is so funny..I threw my son’s blanket down over the bannister upstairs so I could get more sheets to bring downstairs. I hear a ruckus downstairs..so I go down and see Bailey running in circles obviously very excited that I gave him a new bed! I had to pull him off to put them in the washing machine. Blow up the pillowcase pattern..:P2

My niece just e-mailed me this link. She is a film editor who got a bit burned out and went to work for the Humane Society doing media work for them. They sent her with a chihuahua over to The Hallmark Channel and while trying to help them get good footage of the dog she ended up with her arm and leg in one of the video clips. She doesn't like to be on that end of the camera. I thought this was cute. :))
