I think your sparkly diamond avatars look amazing! They should be sparkling all year round, not just at Christmas.

Since we are packing right now to move we don't have any Christmas decorations out. I can at least check this thread to see a lot of sparkles going off at the same time.

You are welcome. Merry Christmas. I don't think I'll be able to pull off snow in Berkeley though. We spent a week at Pebble Beach in September. It was so pretty out there. We had a blast; we'd both go back there in a heartbeat.

Gosh, I need to change back to a diamond avatar pic!!!! I want a sparkly diamond!!! I am waiting to see if they get any more AVR's in before I change my avatar, though. So even if it is after the holidays, I still want a sparkly avatar!

Okay I figured it out. They need to be no larger than 140 x 120 resolution. I kept making it smaller until it fit. Now I just need to perfect it.

Those who has PS Elements I did this:

Opened the image I wanted
Duplicated it 4 times
Under filter chose render then lens flare then movie prime
Click on the image where you want the flare
Do the same on each duplicated image
Then save for web as gif and choose animation. Then reduce your image size until you get the resolution allowed.
Then save.
Fun, I always wanted to know how to do that.

I'm stuck! I am using PhotoShop CS4, I did everything, then save for web, choose GIF, then I see animation at the bottom but the looping options are grayed out? I'm not sure if I need looping options (seems like diamonds do! LOL)--but if I save it nothing sparkly happens.

Can anyone help?

I have a choice I have to click that says animation then the bottom buttons become active. If that doesn't work let me know.
