Gosh, I need to change back to a diamond avatar pic!!!! I want a sparkly diamond!!! I am waiting to see if they get any more AVR's in before I change my avatar, though. So even if it is after the holidays, I still want a sparkly avatar!

Aww- you should do them both!!! Switch them around.

I'm thinking' Valentine sparkles...Spring sparkles.....

You are very welcome! PS4 is an older version of Photoshop but I imagine you can still animate images in that version. Elements is usually not as versatile as Photoshop. I always google my question and usually find out how to do something that way. Maybe give that a try. There are so many things to learn in Photoshop and Elements. We had PS5 or 6 before we went with Macs and I wasn't very good with it. Good luck!

I wish I knew how to post it for you. Maybe tell me the steps you followed to save it and upload it and I will see if I can figure it out? I hope we can figure it out. I am a sucker for hearts and your diamond is so pretty.

I double clicked on my sparkly heart picture and went to profile, clicked edit, looked at info and there was my sparkly heart with Santa hat under ring specs instead of in avatar. I tried the drag and drop feature, but that wouldn't work either.

Here are the steps I used:

After you get to edit user profile:

I hit the browse button

Find the file save on my computer that I want to upload and hit open (I have a Mac so I don’t know what yours will say)

Hit the Upload button on the user profile page (then I get a ? and no image in my profile picture)

Then I scroll all the way to the bottom and hit submit and my animated gif is in the profile pictures and shows up as my avatar

DH said we had Photoshop 4 but I actually never animated anything in it. I still think it would work in there though.

I did my own, I went to the Blingee site and followed the instructions. I'm on my IPad and can't do it because of no Flashplayer , but I did it on my PC. Good luck, I gotta go remove my Santa hat!

Marcy THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!! I hadn't come back to the thread until now, and there's my sparkly avatar. It's like a little New Years Elf came & dusted my ring .... THANK YOU!!!

If I change my avatar (which I'm prone to do), will the sparkles follow? Or will I need to bug you again?
