I'm having a bit of trouble with posting the pics but would like to share my Crafted by Infinity three stone semi bezel created for me by Wink Jones of High Performance Diamonds. Center stone is 1.75ct and side stones of .55 ct each in 14k rose gold.

I absolutely love my ring, Wink could not have done a better job. I forgot to mention that it's an N colour and my ring size is 5.5.

I still can't believe we found a Crafted by Infinity within our budget, it always look a little bigger than it actually is in pictures because it's so sparkly! I love the finger coverage a three stone gives and the sturdiness of a semi bezel setting, this ring is just perfect for me.

Daisyoz, thank you for that - your nice words come at a much needed time - have been going through some very very slight second-guessing; told myself if i did that I was taking a break from PS so I'm snapping myself out of it!

Thanks, ladies! I plan to get my fill of this solitaire and when I eventually tire, my jeweler will work on the other setting. It is a great compromise, as I am still losing weight and a major issue with the other setting was sizing.

Junebug: Say it isn't so! Do not have second thoughts about your setting! I love it!

Junebug, Your halo is out of this world, You know it. But I really understand You. I have limited my time in diamond forum, because sometimes I feel that I don't know what I really want and get confused. Should I have to stay with bezel or six prong? Was halo right choise? I know there is not just one setting, but tens and tens. But sometimes there is time to stop searching. And enjoy what we have. I must confess; I have moved to pearl forum. And found totally new world .

Don't be one of those people who falls into the seductive lure thAT constant diamond barrage can bring. You have a beautiful diamond and setting that seems so perfect for your hand. It just may just be time for you to take that break.

I am usually very strong, but there have been recent periods that I too crave a new diamond. I have put offers in on 2 of them and they have been rejected, much to my relief. For a time I asked "the universe" to just let my read here , and not to allow me to buy anything. I even went and bought a 3 ctw cz ring to quell my desires. I don't honestly want a new diamond, but I can get caught up in new desires. Its ridiculous!

Laila and braga, honestly, it's not even anything specific…I'm being SO ridiculous…I do love the setting I chose…I think it's more of a question as to whether I should have worried so much about keeping the cost down and gone for a hand-forged piece, or a SS setting, since I'm going to be wearing this setting for the rest of my life lol. And little things, such as Confection mentioned - should I have done a bezel halo instead etc. It's not that I don't like my setting…but I've fallen into the trap of "Is there something else out there I'd like even BETTER?" As Confection said, the possibilities for settings are endless! I definitely don't regret the halo though, that was hands-down the best choice for me.

Confection and Annette, your posts made me feel so much better! How wonderful that you both understand, so comforting! Yes, I think I'm just going through a period where I am just getting too caught up in my ring and overanalyzing things…when I see my ring on my hand, I love it - I really need to step back and keep things in perspective.

The one thing I might do is see if I can get the diamond lowered a bit - That's one thing I think I would like to change if I can. Thanks everyone, you guys have helped!

Junebug, your ring is gorgeous, and as I've said before--it looks so beautiful on your hand! To answer your question--is there something you'd like better. The answer is of course, YES. But it doesn't matter. Because we are who we are (jewelry enthusiasts/collectors/addicts), something will always interest us. We'll always wonder what a certain style will look like on our hands... what looks better in this light, in that light, on Tuesday, on Wednesday, etc. A measure of "regret" (not even the word I'm looking for) I think is normal. It's a big, big decision and I think you made the right choice for you! I was just looking at your ring the other day, wondering what it would look like with an oval. The shoulders are what "makes" that ring, IMO, and it's gorgeous!

You're right, how I'm feeling is pretty natural, especially being on a diamond forum, where there's an opportunity to see so many styles. And hey, if it wasn't for PS, I wouldn't even know about old cuts and wouldn't even have this ring! PS (and bastecat!) helped me put together a ring that I love. What I've decided on is a good choice for me, I will just relax and enjoy it!
