Smokey and BB are doing fine. We had our 1-year adoption anniversary on September 30 and BB''s definitely integrated herself into the family. Can''t remember what life was like without her (although we still accidentally call her Sasha from time to time!)...

Trelala...that''s an important consideration! Usually in Jamaica though, the sand isn''t that hot, but I''ll ask around and see what other people think. The resort we go to also has a message board. I''ll post it there...Thanks!

Well, here''s an update...

I ended up ordering my dress from netbride.com!! The one with the lace from Alfred Angelos. I got it for 1/2 the retail price, so I think I''m getting a good deal. I can''t wait to get it in, but it won''t be until March!

Oh well...at least I know it''s on it''s way!!!

What about some strappy wedge shoes? Wedges so you''ll be up off the sand a bit but won''t sink in like regular heels. I could see some with ribbon ankle ties.....

yay i like that one you got !!! it''s perfect for a beach wedding. i love the idea of going barefoot, shoes on a beach are tricky regardless of the type.

Me and my husband is also renewing our vows for our 12th anniversary next year on 8/18/07. I also looked at that dress. I want something sexy but yet elegant to wear. I would like to find something that has a sweep train, we planning on having a church wedding again. We decided the day that we got married 11 years ago that we was going to renew vows, because alot of things went wrong the first time. We are going on a cruise to the Bahamas for 7 days, WOOHOO!!!!!!!!! I can''t wait to renew our vows. I love him even more now then I did when we originally got married, never knew that could be possible.

Thanks MrzNeicia! Congrats to you too! I guess this means we were married just weeks apart! (We were married July 22)...The dress I''m getting does have an option, removable sweep train. I realized that the catalog # 1774NT refers to "no train"! So after the wedding, you can actually remove the lower portion of the skirt/train and end up with the dress I''m ordering! 2 looks for the price of one! I decided against getting the train as we''re getting married on the beach. No real reason for the train.

Congratulations to you as well! A cruise to the Bahamas, huh? How exciting! Like a 2nd honeymoon!

I also can''t wait to renew our vows. We''ve been through so much together over the last 12 years that I want to reaffirm our love for one another as well as recognize that all the ups-and-downs didn''t tear us apart..it only made us stronger as a couple!
