Gorgeous Neptune,

I know a few people have asked about the Emerald cut details.

Would love to see it have a post of it’s own.

Today, it’s David Klass for my RH.

The Solitaire is a faint pink/brown tranny OEC from Ivy and Rose that DK set in a custom gold blend - it’s a mix of yellow and rose

I love the ruby ring so much! Can I ask where your purchased it??

Thank you. It's from Kwait. I purchased it almost a decade ago and I think they're stilling making this style. Smaller version has become available recently too. BTW, I like your set very much.

HI:

My right hand isn’t as blingy as some of yours here, but this ring means the world to me. This was my grandmothers wedding band. She passed away in 1990 and my father had it sized to fit his pinky. He wore it daily, never took it off, until recently when he started losing weight. My father passed away on 4/17/21, just 3 weeks after being diagnosed with metastatic melanoma. I started wearing it when he was in the hospital during his last week, it comforted me. My plan is to wear it daily just as my dad and grandmother did DC345DD3-8373-40AA-AB11-2F6D623724FC.jpeg

This so trumps bling. The connection is there every time you look at your hand and see this lovely band. Thank you for sharing this.

This was a gift from my husband for our 3rd wedding anniversary. We are coming up on our 4th this October! Love this ring, it’s so classic and easy to wear as an everyday ring.

Beautiful. I am so sorry on the loss of your dad.

Today’s bling is a blue opal. Picked her up in Puerto Rico about 17 years ago. Funny story about this ring, I had worn it to work, took it off to wash my hands, and thought I had left it in the bathroom. Went back and couldn’t find it, and thought someone in the office just picked up a nice ring… About 12 years later I decided to wear a pair of pants I hadn’t worn in about that long and there I found my ring when I reached into the pocket! I was so excited because I had picked up the ring when I was in PR spending quality time with my grandmother before she passed and so the ring reminded me of that wonderful last time with her.

Thank goodness you didn’t donate those pants to charity after all that time!

Get tired of going places blingless so said what the heck threw a ring on my right hand and went to the grocery store 75F2DFBB-DE68-400B-AAFC-21740175A458.jpeg

What type of stone is this? It’s gorgeous.

So I just received this ring in the mail today. I found it for sale on Etsy. It is very similar to the Kwiat argyle ruby ring which I love and I’ve been looking for that type ring for a while. I can’t decide if I should keep it.
It’s a little smaller than I wanted. The rubies are also not as red but it also cost a fraction of the Kwiat ring. So I expected that. What do you think!?

Another ring I just received off Etsy from a Thai seller. Not a great ruby but fixes my itch and I do love the setting. Rubies are my new obsession. AB91A2F3-00D2-4FF6-A25B-C9655179BB96.pngE4A8E68D-7CB8-4214-B36B-810D27F4D5F4.jpeg

I’m late to the party but I love that solitaire. May I ask where you got it or who made it?

I’ve been feeling the gray days lately.
It’s a good thing that the lights from my stove make my AVC dance because the sun won’t be an option for a while. Hooray for the little things.
