This is how it looks most of the time. It is quieter in some lighting but always has movement. So happy I followed my gut because there is a lot of negative about the cut online. Old cuts fascinate me. I am so happy I found pricescope.com!

Thank you. I thought about this project for a long time. I originally had fallen in love with the stone and it went from there. I could just see it in my mind, even though my husband had doubts it would work when I showed him the drawings. I am most definitely not an artist so my drawings were very basic. I am so happy DK always gets what I am talking about ☺☺I am thrilled with the results and it is so comfortable.

This set is fun to photograph in nature. I am hobby photographer and am out taking pictures a lot (not just of my rings) and can't pass up a good shot.

This actually did hurt a bit... since I adore this ring so much, I was stalking it in the SOLD section of Grace's site for the last months... was trying to find out where it went and only by chance discovered this thread. So I have something new to stalk...
Its so gorgeous, love the additional shots, the fact that it so comfy and secure, love the east-west setting. As said, it hurts, but it helps A LOT to see it has a very loving home!

PS: You know who to call first should you think about selling it, right ?

Thank you! I actually stalked this diamond as a loose stone originally and then purchased it set because I adore the rose cut. I ended up resetting it so it was still low set but off the finger a bit so that light can reflect through the basket. It gives it much more shimmer and light play. If I ever decide to sell I will keep you in mind!

Hey, I am so glad you took my note positive - it was meant like a compliment but I felt bit bad afterwards - since you obviously adore and enjoy your new ring and I am here already like 'BANG'- ready to jump right on it ... its a really gorgeous stone and I love how the reflection falls into many separate triangles (with many rose cuts my impression is the top 6 facets form a sort of shape that shimmers all together and takes all the attention). The shape is gorgeous and I love the E-W setting and the finger coverage... also the fluorescence gives it a very crisp and white face up... but I will stop now

I already sort of accepted the fact that I have to search for my own rose cut... but still, the bar is quite high up now for expectations. And thank you for the update on your new delicate setting - will definitely remember the higher position/lightplay factor!!!

Beautiful ring and even more so with the reset.

I love the engraved band too. Is that a 2mm? May I ask who did it for you?
I'm planning on purchasing one but I can't figure out if a 2mm or 2.5 would go better with my ER. Noone around here seems to have any engraved bands. I found one but it is too wide at 3mm.

@Elepig it is a 2.5. The 3mm was too wide. This one was perfect. Schubachs high bench engraved it for me. It is by far my favorite engraving on any of my rings. The milgrain is perfect too.
