Rose Cut Shimmer

I have to say, generally I'm not a rose cut fan. But wow!! I could just dive right into this beauty! And the bands just work SO well

Thank you. This is my first rose cut and when I reviewed them online and searched for information I was a little nervous. However, I fell in love with the pictures and I am so happy I followed my gut. Grace from JbG is so great about answering questions too so that definitely helped.

It's also great for me to see another example of this JbG bezel, which I'm pretty sure I want for my e-ring. Is the setting comfortable? Was the turn-around time quite fast?

The setting is very comfortable and the satin finish is really great. I am super active with horses, kayaking and outdoor activities (4 kids) and this is the first setting I do not have to remove all the time. I can even put my hand in my pocket ☺It is very comfortable without losing asthetics. I think you will love it. I originally was going to purchase the stone and then didn't move quickly so when I went back to it Grace had set it. So I am not sure about turnaround. I will not change the setting though because it ended up being perfect and I am loving it. Grace is fantastic to work with as well ☺

I have to say that I've not been a fan of Rose Cuts, or of Yellow Gold, but that set looks absolutely amazing

It looks to me like it's something you'd wear while padding around a Royal court in 15th century England in a velvet dress - an amazing aesthetic, it invokes a feeling of a bygone age in me, and it's not often that pictures really inspire me that much!


Top marks, and even more marks for the incongruity of choosing such a historic-feeling piece while doing crazy 21st century adventure activities lol

You have somewhat changed my view of Rose Cuts, I have to say, so I am glad I decided to open this thread

Thank you ☺I am glad you opened it and took a look. I understand that the cut is definitely not for everyone. Had you asked me a year ago I may have not even considered Rose Cuts. I think it ends up fitting very well with my personality. I adore Historical Romance Novels and movies, antique furniture and warmer stones. It just somehow makes sense on my finger. I really enjoy the quiet shimmer and movement. The added plus is the comfort. Today I wore it while riding my horse over jumps, under gloves of course.

I will definitely get some videos and attach them to the thread. I meant to do so while I was out to dinner last night with candle lights and my phone battery died. Will definitely get some over the weekend ☺

Thank you! My engraved wedding band was made by Teo at Schumachs. He did a great job on the engraving. I love it.

What an awesome set! I would never have been able to come up with pieces so different that go together so well. I love everything about it! Each piece alone is a treasure but they all go together so uniquely and perfectly. Kudos to you, don't know how you came up with such a vision. Even with the rose cut already set, I wouldn't get there. I love everything about all of your pieces! Congratulations!!!
