Such a pretty, delicate and feminine pendant. It looks exactly as pictured by your jeweller. Congrats on the lovely gift.

It is beautiful! Substantial yet delicate and feminine.

Thanks Chrono and Lady Disdain! It's very different than any other piece of jewelry I own and I am looking forward to wearing it.

Wow that is absolutely gorgeous Missy!!!!!! What a beautiful necklace

Oh Missy that setting could have a lump of coal in it and it would still be gorgeous! Clearly it looks much better with the rose quartz ;) and very striking. Enjoy wearing it - I bet you get tons of compliments.

Thank you LD! I have been wearing it this week and have been getting compliments but everyone I work with is so lovely that I could be wearing a real lump of coal with no setting and probably get compliments haha.

Here are some promised pics though I have to say they aren't too good at all as it is very difficult photographing pendants on yourself in the first place and in the second place it is difficult to capture the color. It got washed out in most of my pics but since I promised here they are.

First up is first thing this AM in my nightgown lol. I thought the pink of my nightgown set off the rose quite nicely.
The last pic it looks washed out and it is not that color IRL.

Just a few more showing the color in different ways depending on what I am wearing and the lighting.
ETA: thanks Stargurl!(I missed your post the first time).

Missy, it's even prettier on you than by itself in a photo. I'm not surprised you get compliments all over the place -- it's unusual & so so lovely. I especially like it on the longer chain. Btw -- I'll be over soon to take my turn with it!

What an elegant piece missy! And is that yellow gold I see?

Thanks Rosetta! Yes, it is 14K yellow gold. Though most of my pieces are white gold/platinum I actually prefer the yellow gold with the rose quartz. It seems to complement the pink very nicely.

I gasped out loud. That stone in that setting is incredible - it looks like something that would be the keypiece to a fairytale - the necklace the prince gives the princess right before he rides off to war, or the pendant with magical healing powers... I'm rambling.

You have exquisite taste

So stunning!!! You and the necklace!

Love rose quarts can't wait to see what you get

Oh MY goodness Missy you have been holding out on me....This is stunning!

Thank you Yssie! I love your description of the prince and princess. So romantic! And my dh really is my prince.
And I love the thought that rose quartz represents universal love (at least what I read about it). And congratulations on winning the PS contest-I'm so pleased you won!!

Thank you erin and chel-I am enjoying wearing it. This necklace really goes with almost everything.

LOL- thank you Sarah! I started my colored stone journey with your earrings which I really love wearing and my search took me to this rose quartz necklace that I am loving more each day. You could say your gems fueled my desire for more colored stones. I had never heard of rose quartz before but I am so happy I found it! I am looking forward to seeing your new ring!!

Awww ::) I'm a firm believer in fairytale endings even in the real world

It goes so well with so many outfits - I'm actually a bit surprised by how well it blends given that it's clearly a statement piece. The pink is so soft though...

And thanks - talk about unexpected surprises!
