I really like number two on you, if you can get it made to your measurements, right now it looks like the beading on the bodice is hitting you a bit too far down. Last night when I peeked at this thread number three didn''t do a lot for me, but this morning, I am totally in love with it!

#2. Your figure was MADE for a dropped waist gown. Its stunning on you!

Oh my GOSH I l-o-v-e number 3 on you! I''m more of a no-beading type gal, so that may be part of it.. but I love the little frill detail on the neckline... and I think the jacket is divine! Do you have any more photos of number 3?

Hi PPM! No more pictures of 3 because the camera battery issue

but thanks for your input! It seems like 3 started as the underdog and is slowly gaining a following! hehe

I love #3, but you can`t go wrong they all look gorgeous on you...

EDT: #3 sans lacey jacket thing, you have such beautiful shoulders and arms

Thanks Shimmmer! I personally think my arms are the worst part of my body! But I guess I''m my own worst critic! I have 10 months to make them look AMAZING!

I like #1, but i''m not sure about the neckline... #2 looks fabulous on you!!

1 and 2 both look outstanding! Your figure looks especially sexay in #2!!

Thanks Ctek! I just realized that you''re wedding is in 2 weeks!!! ahhh! Yay for you. :)

#2 is my favorite, but it looks A LOT like the one you said is out of your budget.

Love the first one. Something about the second makes your hips look narrower than your shoulders to me or something, although it may just be the angle the picture was taken at or that you''re short and this dress hasn''t been made to your proportions, but something about it just doesn''t sit right on you to me. I also like the third one, and I wish you had been able to get a picture of it sans bolero and full length! You have a beautiful figure, so you''re going to look great in anything--bet having that going for you makes it tough to narrow yourself down to just one beautiful dress, huh?

Me and a few others here! 6/20 will be a big day for PS weddings.

I just wanted to add that I think all of the gowns look great on you (both a blessing and a curse!). I can see how it would be a really hard choice. My advice would be to go with the gown that you would need to alter the least amount on. I found probably 10 or so dresses that I personally liked on me and that I could live with but I stuck with the one where I knew I wouldn''t be sitting in front of a mirror with the seamstress going "change this, modify that." Using this philosophy could really save you a lot of time and worry in the end. Not to mention $$. Alterations are so stinking expensive sometimes.

You''re off to such a great start! I agree with others that you have nice arms! I noticed them right away.

Hi
35.gif
#2 is my personal favorite on you. #1 the least. It seems like there isn''t a well defined flow OR separation between the bodice and the skirt.

I love #3...but without the jacket!

I absolutely adore number 3-it''s so beautiful!

Just wanted to say another thank you for all the input, support, and lovely compliments! PS is great for a self-esteem boost

It seems like there are a lot of supporters for the #2 dress so I might have to make a trip down to LA again to try that one on...

My sister wants to go dress shopping with me here in San Francisco, but I''m nervous that will make me more

. What have your experiences been with trying on more dresses when you already have a handful of favorites? Will it make the decision harder or easier?

I vote for #2 as well. I''d only choose #3 if you are having a more informal, garden-type wedding.

Hmm... I''m the odd duck out cause I''m not loving any of them. I like aspects of all of them, and you have a great figure, but none of them are striking me as it.

Thanks for the honesty Gypsy! The dress search continues...

Welcome Monkey! Your figure reminds me of Facetfire's. Look at some of her dress threads (there were quite a few). The dress she ended up with is my all time favorite gown ever (and is a Romana K so quite pricey) but the style of it might be something for you to look into.

http://a1000.g.akamaitech.net/f/1000/806/12h/images.theknot.com/GownDesigners/palomablanca/knpblas083861l.jpg This is a paloma blanca. It has a very defined waist, a sweetheart neck and a circle skirt. It looks kinda like a two piece and it has the details that you other gowns had (lace and so forth). Maybe give something like this a try?

oo all very pretty. I think I like a "milder" trumpet, mainly because I''m super short, 5''1" on a good day. Anything with too much material or that flares too far from my body makes me look even shorter and eats me up.

I think I''ll be shopping again this weekend. I''ll give some of those a try and post pictures for feedback.

Gosh they are all nice, you have a great figure. Number 2 and four are my favs in that order!

I LOVE dress #1 the most. They are all lovely however!

#2 It really flatters you. But they''re all lovely.

2 best followed by 3!

I tried on 100 dresses and I had many that I liked out of that bunch but I did find that it helped to keep on trying, especially once I thought I found the one. I think I tried on another 20 once I found my Marisa and it did even more to convince me that I had found the one.

Since it seems like you are torn between a good amount of design elements perhaps it would be helpful to try on some additional gowns with the same design elements to help narrow down the options... as bizarre as that sounds. Keeping it to those design elements (sweetheart neckline, dropped waist, trumptet/mermaid, etc.) will at least help slim down the option in San Francisco.

I LOVE #3 - to the point where in my head I'm thinking, "Oh PLEASE I hope she picks that one because I want to see so many more pictures of it!" I love it with or without the bolero, it is just so unique and feminine.

Another vote for #2 - it's exactly what I would wear
1.gif
. Your shape looks similar to mine and I didn't want a big poofy dress or long train

Hope everything goes well....
