Re: Round 5 mm OEC pair; reduced listings; & new/upcoming st
This one is kind of oddity for me, but I have this diamond bracelet that I'm going to offer. It's from my great aunt's collection (she passed several years ago and I was given some of her pieces - she had a huge collection! This is just not my personal style though, so I never wear it. She was a total doll, it has good karma
The issue is that I'm not great at evaluating diamonds, but I'll do my best. I was offered $500 for this bracelet at my local pawn shop several months ago (I was mainly just interested in confirming that they're natural diamonds - they are). I didn't take the offer at the time, but I'm going to offer it here for the same amount, in case anyone is interested. And if no takers, I can always sell it locally.
So: it is marked 14k in at least two pieces; it is fairly heavy. It actually registers on my postal scale (my jewelry scale is broken) at .5 oz, so based on that I believe it is approx 14 grams (at minimum) in weight. The diamonds "appear" to be single cuts to me; I'm not 100% certain, but I *think* that's what I'm seeing. I know it's an older bracelet, vintage at least. The setting is yellow gold; the diamonds appear to be slightly off white to me, but I can't honestly say how much of that is the diamond color, or how much it's affected by the yellow gold setting - and the fact that this bracelet needs a cleaning!! At a guess I would say probably J range, Si1-Si2. Pretty typical for this style of bracelet. I count 49 diamonds, and they look at be @2 mm rounds, they are 2 prong set. By my calculations I believe it's in the 1.5 tcw range. It appears to be about 7.5 inches long, but it has a safety catch so I can't pull it flat to measure. All parts/clasp are in good working condition.
I'm sorry I can't be more specific; I'm just evaluating it the best I can. If you're interested just message me; I'll set up a listing shortly though. I will answer any questions about it as best as I can! Asking $500 OBO (keeping in mind I should be able to get that for it here).
