I have a RB stone inside a octagonal halo. I wanted the same type of look you are talking about (the sparkle) inside of a squarish look. I had designed this and with the help of whiteflash I was able to have my dream ring made. GL and can''t wait to see what you do.
Singer, thanks so much for posting all of the pix!

Atroop, I loooooooooooove your ring! I''m not sure how I missed it. It''s just gorgeous.

I''m thinking I might talk to Mark at ERD about a setting. What do you all think of that idea? He does have a yummy square halo in case I decide to keep my Jubilee and halo that instead. And it looks like he does custom, if I do go round/square halo. So many decisions!
Singer: I absolutely love your ring! I am so happy to see those new pictures -- great job! It is gorgeous and unique!
I hope I don''t have to go to "plan B" because I do love the cushions (one in particular
), but if I can''t get one, then I would definitely do a square halo on a round. I think I would modify it for a bezel setting, though, because I am always drawn to them. Plus, I am awful tough on my hands --I always have cuts, etc on them, and I would feel safer with a bezel set center.
