Royal blue sapphire hunt

Please send me an email I'd love to talk you privately even just for a few minutes. You have no idea how much you just changed my life with an action
This interaction between you two strangers, at opposite ends of the world, is beautiful. I am in awe of the generosity @Bron357 has shown and the humility of @Angelwk . Both of you are strong and have persevered. I giggled and smiled reading your posts to each other. This caring connection is what life is supposed to be about. It warmed my heart to see this, and I thank you both for that.

Awww thank you for that @Bron357 is honestly the kindest human I've ever met I've never won anything or gotten a random gift that is so meaningful from a stranger. Seriously she honestly changed my life

She's made me beyond happy. Things like this just doesn't happen to me! I feel so blessed right now guys. Seriously

It’s nothing really.
Cancer has touched, quite heavily, my own family as my beloved father is currently stage 4 and slowly fading.
Yet my life is full of blessings.
Including a charming and inspiring daughter, who as a 15 year old girl, shaved off completely her beautiful long hair for Cancer research raising almost $4,000 AND donating those gorgeous locks to a charity that makes wigs for kids undergoing chemo.
So, if there is a God, I’m aiming for a pass grade!

Wow...something compelled me to open this thread (I tend to surf PS on my phone so skip around a lot)..and never expected to find so much wonderfulness. Angelwk's successful fight with cancer with the wonderful support of her husband, Bron357's generosity and Bron's daughter sacrifice for a great cause. It made me smile (although I'm sorry to read about your father Bron357 - cancer sucks)

That's so amazing. I am sorry about your father. I was put in a foster care when I was young because my mom passed away a long time ago and my dad didn't want us so he left. That's why I moved out so early when I was 16. A lot of my life has been going through on kindness of strangers. It was hard to not have parents when you're fighting with cancer. Thankfully I had my friends and some wonderful nurses who took extra time with me. @Bron357s actions means so much. And every time someone participated in cancer research activities it makes me so happy :))

You two are just wonderful! And @Bron357 your generosity is just inspiring! Maybe I also should gift someone something from all of my nice things.

@Bron357 actually ended up giving me the most extravagant beautiful sapphire
I can't wait to show you when it's all said and then I think it's going to be the most beautiful ring ever
So stay tuned for my very very very special ring guys!! She is such a wonderful generous woman and I cannot be more grateful

I am at work crying like a baby! The exchange on this post has been so heartwarming. @Angelwk your story is breathtakingly beautiful! I am glad you have your wonderful hubby beside you during your fight. He sounds like a wonderful person and you deserve that light in what appears to have been a bad beginning.

@Bron357 that was a beautiful gesture! I am sorry your father is dealing with cancer right now, I wish him a speedy recovery - or as speedy as cancer can get.

Thank you my love I. Feel so blessed I really do

I'm totally floored by Bron357 's act of generosity, what a beautiful thing to do! I'm so sorry to hear of your's father's cancer diagnosis Angelwk, hope that you enjoy that sapphire for many years to come.

I received the most generous email today from @suzanne2 she wanted to chip in some money on my setting on this beautiful sapphire. The generous offerings of these ladies are just astounding to mre.

We were actually going to wait a while before setting the stone because it has to be custom and I do want the perfect ring. And settings are very expensive. But the other consideration is amazing.. I can't believe someone even thought of the cost of the setting for me.. You ladies changed my life really

A 5.55 yellow sapphire..something I never dreamed to own Screenshot_20180602-031232_Gmail.jpg

I'm starting a new thread on setting ideas and how much it will cost..so close!! I hope I can afford it :appl:

Reading these more recent posts is such a magically happy way to end the week! (although I too have tears in my eyes) How wonderfully thoughtful and generous of @Bron357 and @suzanne2 -- and by accepting their offers, @Angelwk , you have given them a gift, for that's gladdening their hearts.

And we all will have the pleasure of seeing your new ring come to fruition

This thread warms eveyones heart. It is so beautiful to read it. It brings tears to my eyes (in a good way).

And what a beautiful outcome: the sapphire has switched colors! Is this @Bron357 ‘s yellow sapphire she posted recently?

The stone is gorgeous in more than one way! Looking forward to follow your setting adventures. It was also so kind of @suzanne2 to financially support you for a part of the setting.

Good for you to accept their kind offers as that also takes courage.

I lifted the email addy from one of her posts so it would be a private exchange but I forgot to tell her that it was private and she outed me right away. This thread is about Angel and Bron, not me. So sorry. Damn!! Anyway, I just woke up to these wonderful posts and I want everyone to know that I'm NOT a nice person. Really. It's just her story touched me and I'm lucky enough to give a little. Courage sometimes deserves a little help.
@Bron357 I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I wish him a speedy recovery.

@suzanne2 thanks Suzanne but ugh can't find anything that isn't super expensive and the diamonds are sooo tiny it's just not worth it. Sigh. Ugh I wanted it for my bday ! ! Oh wells. I'm still so happy about my rock that's what's important

: Re: Blue sapphire turned yellow sapphire with custom colors Setting - New reply to watched thread
If they can adjust it to just a tiny halo hidden underneath omg
It would be so amazing

Hey hey hey there! Slow down girlfriend! It will take some time to pick the right one, sometimes people here take months and months to find the perfect setting. It's a dance between finding the right setting and what you can afford. Sometimes you have to compromise on one or the other. But don't worry, you will have a beautiful ring when it's all said and done.

Good! Stay positive, but patient all good things take time! If you go the custom route for the perfect ring, you need to do your research. Google all the settings, pick out ones you love. If you can't find every element you want in one ring, pick it every image with every little element you loven even if its only one line in the ring, save the photo down. I'm 1000000000000% sure with all the combined experience of psers and which ever setter you decide to go with we will be able to help you tease out the perfect ring.

@suzanne2 your offer to help makes you a very integral part of this ring making experience. I'm personally glad OP "outted" you so to speak! It's a very generous and beautiful thing you did. ( I also highly doubt that you are 'not a nice person'. Your generous offer makes you the best kind of person in my book) Your contribution absolutely needed to be addressed!

See? This is the kind of stuff I wanted to avoid. It's embarrassing. I haven't even given her anything yet and it's not a huge amount anyway. But thank you so much for your kind words. Maybe there are other PSers who want to join Bron's crusade for the perfect setting and throw in a few dollars? A ten here and a five there all add up and it's so easy to do - a few clicks on PayPal and it's done. I'll get Angel"s paypal today, give it to Bron and anyone who wants to help can contact Bron through her listing on Loupe Troop. (This will all be news to her lol :eek-2: )
Anything that Bron is passionate about is worth a helping hand. She has an awesome, sweet and generous heart.
I know what a lot of you are thinking, that's it's another one of *those* ventures that turn out wrong. I don't think that's the case here. I'm making a leap of faith and I'm enjoying it. It makes me feel good to help someone, so it's not a purely altruistic act. I get something out of it too.:twisted2:
OK, I'll shut up now

The idea that I had originally was actually for a blue sapphire but now that I have a yellow sapphire my idea has completely changed.
Let me show you ladies what I want and what you guys think is possible I definitely don't want anything on the side because the gem is selfish much too big so it's definitely not going to happen
I pretty much just want and under Halo tavi band with the yellow gem on top

Screenshot_20180531-220633_Pinterest.jpg pretty much like that except that it's a yellow gem

And just like this. I don't think I can afford anything close to that or where to find. A jewelery designer. But this is exactly what I want. It is so gorgeous Screenshot_20180602-222616_Pinterest.jpg

Just a lurker here :) But I knew I liked you @Bron357 (:

What a compassionate thing to do!
& You @Angelwk ,
I hope you get the ring of your dreams!
Remember, it's natural for the hunt to take time, so just breath and search on! (:

What a sweet thread to wake up to!

Don't be embarassed! Your good deed actually inspired me to do the same...see one good turn and all. And why shouldn't you feel good about helping others?

Doesn't have to be a HUGE amount, when every dollar counts, even $10 a person will help immensely!
