Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore the floral tiara from Grand Duchess Charlotte, the rose brooch, a diamond bracet (not visible here) and pearl/diamond earrings and pendant. Looking at this photo again and again I can''t believe HRH is a grandmother:

You''re absolurely correct about the provenence of the small sapphire tiara.
I just couldn''t remember if Mary''s tiara was called Moonlinght, Moonstone or Midnight. That''s why I only called it third tiara.

Maybe Maxima''s "tiara fever" is catching and Beatrix got infected? This must have been the first time in many, many years that she tried out a ''new'' tiara. I wouldn''t mind if a couple of other royals caught the same bug as well. (Victoria certainly wasn''t

I guess you''re right about the "tiara fever" and Queen Beatrix. I hope she won''t recover soon The tiara, of course, is a nice complement too the paisly motifs on HM''s dress. BTW, The Queen wore a brooch, but it was hidden from these motifs, kinda like Maxiama''s sapphire drop.

Re The Grand Duchess - This is a rarely seen tiara and PdV sais it''s from GD Charlotte. I believe it can be worn in a few ways (lake Margrethe''s flower tiara).

I made a mistake in my previous post. Apparently HM Queen Anne-Marie wore the ruby parure sans la diadème. Apart from the necklace and earrings, she wore the samll brooch on her hip, an impressive bracelete and a ruby/diamond ring (of course not visible on this photo):

Thank you for the pics and info about MT''s tiara and for those truely breathtaking tiara close-up.
Re. Alexia''s tiara, do you know anything about it? It seems to be her personal property, was it purchased for her or was it a family piece?
Usually I prefer the hair up with tiaras, but this time I think that Alexia looked much better on the 2nd night, with the semi-up-do. It was also the dress, but she looked much younger and more vibrant that night.

This brooch belonged to Queen Ingrid and she sometimes wore it with the ruby parure. The Princess actually looked like a Greek godess with this dress.

IIRC, the tiara was a wedding present from Alexia's parents. Acquired for the occasion, not an heirloom.

This relatively small tiara has grow on me much since I first saw it. The close-up makes me even more fond of it. Thanks for the photos and I hope Tamara doesn't mind.

Hope Mette Marit will wear her hair in a similar way again. She looks great with it.
