Royal Jewels

Queen Silvia of Sweden at the second Nobel Gala Dinner. She is wearing the Leuchtenberg Sapphire Demi-Parure and the Leuchtenberg Tiara and the Leuchtenberg Sapphire Brooch. I think this parure is the most magnificent out of any of the sapphire parures owned by any of the royal houses.

Maxima with Willem-Alexander at an awards ceremony this week. She is wearing one of her crazy necklaces of gold and crystal (or plastic). She''s also got a bracelet possibly of citrines, topaz or maybe even amber?

Maxima giving Queen Beatrix a kiss. The Queen is wearing earrings with what looks like citrine drops. You can see Maxima''s bracelet. I think the earrings she is wearing are the flower clusters out of smoky and clear quartz.

Whoops - here''s the picture.

Lady, is Fergie's ruby in here? Sorry, I must have missed it.

There is a picture of Sarah''s ruby in here somewhere - but I don''t think I have posted these. You can see her ruby ering, her gold signet ring and her rolling rings as well as what looks like a diamond eternity band and a pear solitaire.

Here''s another with her ruby, wedding ring, signet ring and Cartier (?) watch.

I don''t think I have posted this one before:

This is Princess Anne''s original ering from her marriage to Mark Phillips. (Look familliar SDL?

) It is a round sapphire with a round diamond on either side. She also has on some nice bracelets!

Crown Princess Victoria''s Six Rosette Tiara:
Does anyone else think it looks like a bunch of lollipops? LOL

Princess Marie Chantal of Greece had her own beloved children in mind when she designed these teensy diamond pendants that resemble playful girl and boy stick figures. They're designed to be worn in multiples—the Princess wears one for each of her four children.www.vivre.com

Cute they are!
I think these would be great "Push" presents,
provided you know the sex of the child!

Mette-Marit of Norway wears a necklace with those pendants - two boys and a girl. It''s about the only jewelry she can be counted on to wear!

HEY Lady Amy,
Thanks for the posts of the Fergys jewelry. The watch and roll rings are cartier.Princess Diana and Fergy had an attraction for any thing Cartier when they were part of the royal family. After Diana''s death I read an article that stated that Prince William would inherit her sapphire ring and her favorite watch...a cartier tank style watch on blk leather strap.

William took the watch and Harry took the ring. I was somewhat surprised that William didn''t take the ring but I guess he knew there could never be another Princess of Wales wearing so...maybe we will see it on Harry''s wife one day.

Hi LadyAmythyst69!

I have been away from Pricescope for a while and came back to find this wonderful thread you started! Thank you so much! I saw that you are a historian in Royal History. I don''t want to hijack your thread but was curious if you knew any history on the Thurheims or Hapsburgs/Habsburgs of Austria? I am a descendant on my grandma''s side....I would be interested if you know anything about them or have any pictures of their gems too. Thanks again for all these amazing pictures! Happy holidays!

Hugs,

ulualoha

ETA: Crown Princess Mary....

She is absolutely gorgeous- she looks like a painting!

That is a surprise..I agree that it would be hard to be the lady that recieves that ring and has to live up to Diana''s reputation. Thanks for all the effort you put into this thread!
