Royal Jewels

Return event at Konzerthausduring - large ruby pendant (from the Mellerio devant-de-corsage), large riviere (from Queen Wilhelmina), ruby ear clips (also by Mellerio), a matching bracelet (yet another Mellerio) and a cape to match her large personality!

HM is wonderful
such a joy for jewel watches

thanks for the close ups today
especially the close up of our Queen's Scottish brooch
its quite impressive up close

It’s lovely seeing QE11 looking so well and happy today.

i read in the (very untrustworthy) Express that HM is back on her horse
i hope this is true
i would think any kind of exercise would be good for mobility issues - got to keep moving
i do wonder if some of her issues are related to covid
its been through Gary's son's work place and the receptionist came back to work on a walking stick looking like she had had a stroke

also HM loves her horses - probably more even than the military and the commonwealth combined
i think not ridding would have robbed her of a simple pleasure and without simple pleasures life becomes a hard slog

This is one of those looks that only Maxima can pull off. She looks stupendous!

HM back in the saddle was also reported by the Daily Mail!

Mary of Denmark might feel offended...

The British ladies are not so keen on bringing out their blings; thank goodness we can rely on the European ladies to do that so that we could feast with our eyes!

DK :lol-2:

Yup, apparently HM QE2 was back on the saddle.

DK :appl:

i feel like the BRF get worse scrutiny by the gutter left leaning anti monarchy press so they walk a fine line bringing out the big guns
maybe Spain also

i mean the exspress is terrible
the gardian is so left leaning
and then you have publications like the horrible Aussie new idea that just make stuff up and print lies
they have a republican agenda if you ask me

It's been silent on the jewel front, but I came across this cuttie today and couldn't resist to share it.

The Duchess of Cornwall, guest editor, invited the Duchess of Cambridge to take the cover photo for the next Country Life edition.

I think it is very sweet that she asked Catherine to be the photographer, and they are good photos to my untrained eyes.

DK :))

I love, love, love the hair barrette! Only, I would wear it with the curve facing to the back/pointed ends facing forward. :D

Honestly? Whenever I see her she reminds me of Brittany Spears. Maybe it's the blonde-hair-brown-eyes combination? That's part of it, but to my eye, there's a facial similarity, too. =)2

I see the resemblance too, @SparklieBug - its's also the shape of their eyes, its similar.

On second thought, it looks like this VC&A flying butterfly with detachable clip from 2013 with a matching cuff

Whatever it is, it’s :kiss2:

Mary and Isabella's matching pendants (M and B) yesterday at Grasten, the RF's summer residence 20220718_230357.jpg

Interesting the Princess wears a B...does she go by Bella in the family?

Albert and Charlene attended the Monaco Red Cross Ball tonight. Her diamond butterfly necklace might be Boucheron based purely on the question mark shape.

I love Princess Charlene's dress here, but I am not crazy about the necklace. It competes with the neckline of the dress. I would go with no necklace, but a statement pair of diamond girandole earrings.

you know this looks really nice close up
much nicer than i expected from other pictures ive seen
its also quite a young look (no problem with that - HSH is the Princess of Monaco after all)
and even though its kind of still understated for my own extremely OTT princess standards the dress is embellished with sparkles to make up for it
im honestly just so happy to see HSH out and about and smiling any jewlery at this point is a bonus
not usually a fan of royals wearing such identifiable pieces but then Camilla loves her VC & A braclete

oh no ! :boohoo:
now i want one :lol-2: :lol-2:
how big of a lotto win do i need to hope for ? :lol-2:

now ive seen the whole thing i think its perfect for this particular Princess :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :kiss2: :kiss2: :kiss2: :kiss2: :kiss2: :kiss2: :kiss2:
is the bottom element detachable perhaps - its hard to see on that dress ?
