Royal Jewels

As someone who got married in their 30’s, I always loved Sophie’s wedding attire. The simplicity and touches of black in her jewellery was so different to a younger bride’s tendency for frou frou touches. I thought she looked stunning.

she was indeed a very beautiful bride
not that know anything about fashion, wedding or otherwise i think her dress has aged very well

Prince Philip will always be my favourite

i almost think this was the plan all along
it was only the tabloids and their gossip and so called royal experts that kept saying Charles wasnt going to do it
same with the Sussux off spring even maybe ?

all these changes came about because the Queen died, but HM was their mother, i think they all had to come to terms with her loss and it was all too much change at once

I just love her style. If I had the funds I'd be wearing almost all of it, maybe not in mustard, but still!

last time i wore mustard was 1991ish but Queen Max has the presents to somehow get away with it

oh and when you have the funds you must do the brooch on the belt thing that i adore about HM

its thoughts like this why we dont see Catherine in better jewlery
not that i dont respect her dressing down jewlery wise in these harsh economic times
the article does get a few things wrong but not the part about someone being in my words tone deaf
i dont particlulary like this writter

im doing my home work for the corrination
as per usual there is a great shot of the NZers in the pression (our army hats are known as lemon squeesers) on the wat back from the church but we dont get a mention
but there are lots of glittery diamonds and Queen Mary looks magnificant

I did not read the article as I don't particularly care for the pair of them.

it does seem like every royal story always has to default back to the pair

i hope you are there the day HRH comes to visist !

Not at the convention I am attending in May this year as she will no doubt be attending the coronation herself.

Now, what is she going to wear on her head as the new DoE??? I hope she'll get to wear a grander tiara from the royal vault!

DK :))

im not sure about some of the narrators pronounceation but Maxima is a star
reading the comments it would appear there are errors in it so maybe just turn the sound off and just watch the diamonds

Yesterday The Royal Hashemite Court celebrated Princess Iman's wedding to Venezuela-born Jameel Alexander Thermiotis in Aman.

The Princess wore a modern fringe tiara with pear-shaped diamond terminals. It was reportedly made by Chaumet and belonges to her grandmother Princess Muna (though she was apparenty not pictured wearing it)

An emotional mother-daughter moment - hard to believe Rania's kids are getting married!

Princess Muna wore a lovely négligée diamond necklace

Soon-to-be Crown Princess Rajwa wore a pair of statement gem-set earrings (rubellite?)

Unfortunately, Queen Rania was not pictured a lot, but I noticed a large Art-Deco bracelet on her left hand. Princess Firyal (a former aunt to the King) also wore a statement pair of earrings.

I believe they could be Rubies, whatever they are, they are lovely! :kiss2:

I said cute, not scary dinosaurs!

Not a dinosaur...just a lizard. If they had posed with a bird, then we could say they are with a dinosaur since birds are descended from the one branch of dinosaurs that survived.

And there's your fact for the day you will only use if you go on Jeopardy;)2!

Daisy, did you see Edward has been given the Duke of Edinburgh title for his birthday by King Charles III? It will remain Edward’s until his death then revert back to the King for the next chosen royal.

It's

About

Time!!!

I've been wondering about that tiara. It did not look familiar. Interesting that Princess Muna was never pictured wearing it.

Not going to lie, I miss both the late QEII and the late DoE.
