Royal Jewels

My Mother has a Coronation trinket collection starting with Queen Victoria which has been passed down from her family. I want to buy her something for the upcoming King’s Coronation and after looking at Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Marks & Spencer etc;
So far this is the only commemorative item I like - https://www.fortnumandmason.com/fortnums-coronation-commemorative-two-handled-cup
Apologies if this is inappropriate for the thread, are there nicer commemorative trinkets available?
This is more in keeping with her style; https://www.annoushka.com/au/18ct-y...&ransiteID=TnL5HPStwNw-D4rYllL8HUBSzgUdGt7iXw

Omg! That charm is to die for! My style too. Only a hundred made…I bet it is sold out already Even at that price, it is the cost of a luxury hand bag. I do love the double handle tea cup and it’s decoration. Truthfully I find the actual monarchy depictions / portraits on the chinaware a bit kitschy. This cup is more subtle and would make a lovely vessel for a small nosegay sitting on a small side table. No one actually uses the commemorative teacups in fear of breakage. But that charm

i always feel sad looking at mine that almost all of it has sat in some one's grandma's china cabinet unused and kept for good all these years then granny dies or moves into a home or downsizes and no one wants it
i wish all the granmdas had used it at least once

in saying that i dont drink tea
i have a chuny (but nice) tea pot of a royal tour of the Queen mum and King George vi that never happened due to the KIng's ill health in 1947 ....and it does have a tea stain inside of it

my friend at work (who is of retirement age) is looking out her mum's Princess Di cup to give to me because she isnt into it ,
i have to love them all for all the old grandmas

I bought the Fortnum & Mason two handled Coronation cup, I’m more than happy to post a photo when it arrives if it’s within the boundaries/rules of the thread and of course if people would like me to.

#Daisy and Diamonds thank you for your thoughts and it’s good to know that there are other commemorative souvenirs available, I unfortunately couldn’t find many I thought my mother would appreciate.

#lambskin I agree, how gorgeous is the crown pendant, my mother wouldn’t wear it but she would certainly love it! So pleased you agree with the two handled cup, love the Stag, colours and style so looking forward to seeing it IRL.

Princess-Anne-wears-green-in-Belfast-4711944.jpg

Princess Anne along with Captain John Rees, the Chief of Staff of the National Museum of the Royal Navy, both attended the reopening of HMS Caroline and the Pumphouse at Alexandra Dock in the Titanic Quarter in Belfast today. The Princess Royal dressed in green for the occasion.

A Celtic-inspired brooch?

Princess of Wales wore a citrine and gold necklace by Daniella Draper and costume earrings by Sezane Bruna.
She wore the same earrings during a visit to V&A museum in 2021

Look on the bright side - Her uniform and the horse's tack migjt provide more glitter than a brooch and pearls. What's more, that means more jewels for Zara to borrow!

i just watched a so-so doco on Princess Margarete
i feel bad for thinking she was old when she died
i remember they lowered the flag on govt buildings
but now im 50 something and not thirsty something and Gary is seventy something i reallise she was not at all old and she was still rather attractive till she got really sick
