@prince.of.preslav
what tiara was that ?

As already mentioned, it's Queen Victoria's Oriental Circlet.

A staple jewel for the Queen Mother, it was worn by Elizabeth II only once - in Malta during a State Visit in 2005

I think this is nicer than the other bigger Ruby tiara personally.

DK :))

i have watched this movie ten times trying to find the young
Princess Beatrice as one of Queen Victoria's corination lady in waitings (or what ever they are called) in the movie Young Victoria -i did enjoy the movie, saw it at the pictures back in 2009
it was a non speaking part, her mother was involved in the making of the move
69418279-11933273-Fergie_co_produced_the_2099_film_The_Young_Victoria_starring_Emi-a-10_1681741547614.jpg

It is fleeting to say the least, when Victoria is being crowned. I think a large part of the Coronation scene with the ladies in waiting was cut.

I decided against the official coronation china (I did fancy a coffee mug), and purchased a couple of coronation coins instead from Royal Mint.

I would have opted for a small gold coin too, however, that flew out of the window as soon as they were released and I missed the boat. :confused2:

DK =)2

I went for the china commemorating Queen Elizabeth II. I had to wait for the second batch though. I am still trying to work up the nerve to drink at least one cup of tea from it!

That looks like the Oriental Circlet, which originally had opals but was changed to rubies QEII only wore it once. It's in the vault, supposedly.

My first post here.

A shame, it's a beautiful example.
edit: glad to see it out, I'd love wearing it.

They are very beautiful, especially the cocktail ring. It's a pity we don't have pictures of Wallis wearing these.

I have a coffee-table book on her jewellery somewhere in storage, and cannot remember seeing this set in it.

It's very lovely indeed.
