Camilla's crown looks OK with 4 of the arches removed, and it looks like the cross on the orb has been straightened.

Yup, I was wrong, the crown was Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother's and not Queen Mary's, DOH!

That photo was a photo of a replica set of the Crown Jewels that was put up for sale by Sotheby's in the past.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were in the Midlands this afternoon, visiting volunteers at the Big Venture Community Centre - and were greeted with enthusiastic cheers from local schoolchildren.

I am also going to be super early Saturday! I'm planning to have a pot of tea, scones, and some mini quiches, and of course a tiara! I'm going with the tiara I ordered from the Royal Gift Shop.

Sadly, when the festivities are done I will have to attend a funeral. One of my co-workers passed away very suddenly last Friday and her services will be Saturday. Several of us were discussing whether to wear black (tradition) or blue (her favorite color). I told them that our co-worker deserves the same respect that Queen Elizabeth II received...I'm wearing black and pearls.
