Sapphire engagement ring (somewhat unusual)

I love the stuff from Cross jewelers...I actually have the Lady Captain with a cushion Sapphire in Platinum...I have it in a size 10 since I wear it on the middle finger of my right hand...I was able to go there and they had to size it up 3 sizes for me and they did a great job...you cant tell it had been sized

Diane, do you have any photos of the Lady Captain you''d be willing to post? I''ve always been curious to see what one looks like "in the wild" so to speak. They''ve got a couple of lovely ones on the sapphire ring page now.

Yes, they will set your own stone too. Mine is from Natural Sapphire Co.

Still on the search, it looks like, I''m afraid...apparently the ring I really liked from Cross was posted several years ago, and while they can do it in the correct size, the price of the metal may make it prohibitive. Still drooling over it every time I see it, though.

Thanks Selkie. I may still end up going with it- I do have enough money to buy it; rather, I''d be more comfortable if the price were less. So I''m debating on it, and will probably decide sometime next week, once I''ve had a chance to weight the idea, so to speak.
