Hey everyone,
First time post in the colored gem section

I love the blue and pink sapphires and am thinking because I have a boy and a girl I''d like to buy a necklace with both stones in it. It doesn''t necessarily have to be custom made or that I have to pick my own stones but I''m having a hard time finding anything like this on any site. I imagine it''s not common request LOL.

I was looking at SP because they have maternity rings and pendants but nothing that is what I''m looking for. Do they do anything custom where I could request to have this necklace made? I''m not looking for anything extravagant...just could be like a 3 stone with diamond in center or even some type of two stone design.

I''d appreciate anyone''s help on where to look for such a piece. Also if anyone has seen anything like this and could point me in that direction I''d appreciate it. I''d like the necklace to be white gold

Thanks in advance for your help!

I would email Signed Pieces and see what they can come up with. They are super accomodating, and seeing that they deal in all three of the stones you mention already, albeit in other jewellery, so you know they have a source for the stones. If they are unable to help, then you may have to buy the stones and have something custom made.

I wish you well,

Bridget

Do you have a good local Goldsmith jeweler? A good goldsmith should be able to come up with some very special for you, and it''s nice to work with a jeweler in person too.

It sounds like a wonderful idea, but not something I would expect to find in every jewelry store. Just imagine what the ''market'' is for such pieces... Good for you!

A certain style of lariat comes to mind - like this one in the picture below" Two stones, which could be light blue and pink sapphire for you - obviously the center of attention. I rather prefer such necklaces where whatever keeps the two chains pinned infront is very discrete - nothing like the large bezel there, but this was the first decent example of the kind that came up.

I do not know anything about the shop where it comes from, it turned out on a search right now, but I am glad it did! Alexandra Hart Jewelry

And speaking of stones, pears would do great, of course, but I wonder if a certain drop-like fancy cut doesn''t fit even better. The light blue of the pair is already there (LINK).

If a larger piece of jewelry is in order, pairing aquamarine and pink tourmaline would come first to mind. There has been quite a bit of talk about blue zircon here, but I wonder what would make a decent match for brighteness and tone in pink - not much, and there is no pink zircon.

Thank you Ana...that is kind of what I was thinking of in my head but ofcourse I couldn''t find it anywhere online for the picture LOL! That at least gives me a reference when I''m ready to go forward in getting a necklace made or whatever will be done. I didn''t even give a thought to the shape of the stones...I really like the pear idea though
