for all of you who were wondering what a pearl might look like in a lotus setting, here is an example!

I think its so gorgeous, but I suppose I have a slight bias as I am a big fan of the lotus setting

I just might have to get one, hmmm... off to find a pearl now

Oh wow! Thank you for sharing Kas! This is exactly what I pictured it to look like. My mom had this exact ring and when she passed away, my dad gifted it to my aunt. I''ve been wanting a duplicate lately and now I know where to go.

I''ll have to find the right pearl and ask Sally to make one for me...

....if only I had a christmas budget....

Beautiful! I love her lotus, so I''ll be excited to see this one as well. is it just held on by the prongs?

Oh, is it?

I just assumed it was half-drilled.

so, I convo''d Sally about the ring. She said that the pearl is drilled, and they avoid glue when possible, but said that they used a teeny bit for good measure, but it really is held in place by the prongs, which she said are quite long.

she also sent me a picture of some of her available pearls

looks like she''s got everything from white with various overtones, mauve, peachy pink, pinkish lavender, to a gorgeous deep purple... think like LGK''s gorgeous plum strand

Hmmm...I bought a 8-9mm Southsea for my mom, but if she decides it''s too small for a pendant, maybe I''ll see if sally can turn it into a ring!

aha.... good to know, the lotus prongs gives it the illusion that its not drilled. I love it!!
