I've read all the previous posts on WF vs SC Tiffany Style classic.

1. Has there been any update since early late 2007 on the design at WF or SC?
2, IMO, the WF prong and band seems to be relatively thick in relation to the original. The SC one seems to be more aligned to the original. Any thoughts from anyone in the market for these recently? I'm curious as to how the WF and SC differs from the original, and sometimes I have a bad eye for these things.

not sure of the timeline but WF did update their Tiffany replica setting. Sna77 had the old WF version for his wife and switched it to the excel version because he thought it was closer to the original. But, the new WF version is much closer..

check out this thread:

here''s a picture of sna77''s wife''s ring in the old version with the poster''s ring that is the new version that was made in march of 2008

Any thoughts in regard to the shank thickness between SC and WF?

Have you emailed each vendor and asked them? I just don''t know what the width differences are, if any. here is a picture of the real tiffany ring next to the excel version that was taken by 2 pricescopers at a get together. suberbcert ring on the left, real tiffany on the right. both are beautiful. I will say if you want the exact tiffany setting you might consider getting one from signedpieces, that''s what I would do.

I am pretty sure the WF shank does not come to as much of a thin knife edge point as the real Tiffany ring. From the pictures posted on this site, my impression is that the SC one might be closer to the real Tiffany, but I have only seen the real Tiffany in person and not the other two.
