Well Garry I clean the diamond every morning so it's gotta be fast and easy. The baby tootbrush didn't work in the past for scrubbing the pavilion, I will have to see if I can find an even smaller one at the store!! Greg has an espresso machine that we never use, maybe I will check into that!

For what it is worth I just bought and used Hagerty Jewelry Cleaner, $2.79 at Walgreens pharmacy, it comes with a basket/strainer, and this is the part you will like the best, a very small, soft brush! I used it the other day on her ring, took about 2 min, took off all the gook, and looked better than new!!!

Mara,
I have found that using one of my sable hair paint brushes is perfect. I use a #5 detail brush. It comes to a nice point, and really gets in to clean the pavillion very nicely without any scratching. I have 3 baguettes on each side of my diamond and it works very well in reaching underneath the stones to clean them too. Go to any local arts and craft store and take a look at all the brushes. I do recommend the sable though, since it is very soft, yet the bristles are compact enough to get the dirt and grime off.

Balt, interesting, I will have to check it out! Thanks!

LH...thanks for the tips..I have a few brushes to try.
