Searching for an Emerald cut Aquamarine

Hi all! I am searching for an emerald cut light to medium blue aquamarine in 10x8mm to 11 x 9 mm (approx). I am having so much trouble finding a quality stone like this at a reasonable price. I was quoted 3k for a very light blue. I just don’t know what websites to search anymore that I can trust. This website was so so helpful when I was diamond searching, so I thought I would reach out!

Hi all! I wanted to thank everyone for their recommendations on helping me with my search for an emerald cut light blue aquamarine! Jeff White was absolutely great in trying to find the right stone to cut in his inventory. But honestly I was and am being a bit particular about size , color etc., and so I was unable to commit to the rough as I feared it wouldn’t be the color etc I was envisioning.
I also reached out to Gary Braun of Finewater gems, and coincidentally there is a gem show in his town this weekend and I gave him my particulars and he offered to look for something that would work for me! I am very excited and will keep you all posted! Thanks again pricescopers!

I'm another very satisfied JL White customer. Here are my Jeff White Namibian aquamarine rough and the finished stone he cut for me a couple years ago. I found the finished piece to be quite accurate to Jeff's expectations from the color of the rough. Sounds like you are going in another direction now, so dust for the stone of your dreams!

Man that is gorgeous !!!! It was simply a matter of wanting a particular blue and I particular size stone Honestly it was hard not to put my feelings of color aside and just go for it because he does such amazing work. But I read something on one of the threads about sticking to the color you want. So I am He was great though in trying to find what I wanted!

And if this would be the color of the end result, I would have went for it but the stone was to be a bit more greenish! it truly is amazing ! He’s a master!

A little update that Gary will be working to find me a stone for cutting! I think he is planning to travel so it’s very exciting and I’m willing to wait for him to find the right piece. He is so great and so good to know he is so well regarded here. Yours is amazing!
