Hi All,
I’m looking for some feedback on a size 6 solitaire emerald cut diamond engagement ring. It’s a custom-made piece, and I’m trying to finalize the width and thickness ratio. I’m aiming for a slimmer design and was considering a 2.0mm width and 1.8mm thickness.
My main concern is whether 1.8mm thickness might be too much for the overall look and comfort. There isn’t much information out there on the ideal thickness for a slim ring. Does anyone have experience with this, or suggestions on what might work best?
Additionally, I’m curious about the 2x2 option. Would there be any advantage to going with that instead? Again, I’m aiming for a delicate, smaller design.
Would appreciate any insights or experiences you might have!
Thanks in advance!
