Just for fun, here is a K light brown compared to an M light brown

@Daisys and Diamonds, I do love rose gold, never really saw it until PS. Also a little extra width is always good for someone who has a little extra width

@ItsMainelyYou, yes I love the tones too, tend to like brown over yellow but it’s all good in my book.

@LilAlex, oh see now I was thinking there was an image I have seen if all the gold colors, thanks for that. I haven’t heard of palladium white gold but it sounds amazing, especially for a tinted stone.

@MamaBee, I don’t know what I want lol! Part of the reason I started this thread is to get some outside input because I don’t have a definite direction. Feel free to share your faint brown if you have a picture handy, I’m sure I’ve seen it but can’t picture it.

It’s just a little bezel stacker ring. When I get back home I’ll dig it out!

Beautiful EC- I love the color :) I really like the way she looks with the 14kt yellow or rose gold! And the scroll design ring looks so nice with an EC.

I have an N very light brown and I set her in 18kt red gold and love her in it. To me it really highlights her array of colors, she is such a chameleon!

Thank you @stepcutnut! This diamond is just so mesmerizing, maybe that is a distinct quality of emerald cuts. I would love to see your N if you have a picture handy =)2

Sure let me see what I can find, mine is a moval though!

I forgot to post pics of my M. It’s only a .40 but I love it. It’s just not bright white..It does look white most of the time.

I am liking the White Gold as it is currently set. The Rose Gold scroll setting is also quite nice.

Wow that is amazing, so the gold is red and are the diamonds pink? They look pink in the picture but I wasn’t sure if that was because of the color gold. In any case, that is gorgeous!

@MamaBee, talk about a perfect stacking ring and I would never guess that was an M, it is so white! It’s very pretty.

@PhilosopherStone, thank you and I think the white gold has grown on me. Originally I was thinking that rose gold would be the way but white goes with everything. Thanks for your input!

Thank you-yes she is set in 18kt red gold with natural multi-colored diamonds.CAFCFCEC-4287-4799-934E-835C77C869D6.jpeg

Thank you..I agree! I guess it depends on if you want to bring the color out. I didn’t want it to look too tinted. The white gold made it look whiter. You can see the color when it was loose.

Are you hoping to bring out a certain tint in your beauty? Mine is such a chameleon from ivory to light champagne to light yellow-the pic makes her look more tinted than she does in real life.

@stepcutnut, love the multi-colored diamonds, what a beauty!

Not looking to bring out a certain tint, just looking to pick a setting color that makes the diamond look it’s best. When I first started this thread, I wasn’t sure if that white gold was doing the diamond the most justice but it’s grown on me.

@Lookinagain, my goodness I just love the rose gold bezel around that diamond. Again, I would never guess an M, beautiful pendant.

I do too! That’s why I love a faint light brown. It doesn’t have a yellow undertone so it makes the tint less noticeable.

When I'm looking for a budget friendly stone (meaning lower color) I always look for those with faint brown. I have small K studs with faint brown set in rose gold too. I also prefer the faint brown over yellow @MamaBee.
