Oh! That's a very pretty ring. Yes, the color and tone are showcased well by the halo, which has a nicely naturalistic form and proportion. I like the vintage look of the pink-and-green sides, too. The wheat-like motif engraving on the band looks great. Nice touches all around.

That you chose mint garnets to flank this stone tells me we are kindred spirits. They complement each other so beautifully. Voce, this ring is positively stunning... I can't believe I missed it previously. Looks like we both have lavender spinel sister rings from our dear Inken. This is why I love the rainbow thread. We get to share pieces new and old, and maybe discover something we've not yet seen.
