hi everyone, I have a platinum setting fits a cushion cut diamond that was 8.71 x 8.39 x 5.7mm. I removed the stone because it felt too big to me and sold it. I still have the setting. A local jeweler told me I could put a round 8mm stone in there. Is this accurate? If it’s not, what can I put in that setting? Thank you!
