Thanks JuneBug. I really can't get enough out of diamonds, I swear. I'm glad others have the same illness with cam-whoring their bling out!

Edith is an antique ring that was made original for the diamond. It's estimated ~2.1ct H-I from Charles Carmona. I forget the clarity est.. I think it's SI1? But because the cluster of inclusions happen to be in a location where it reflects all over the damned thing, like mirrors. He said the amount of inclusions would warrant a higher grade if it wasn't for the stupid optical illusion lol. I won't unset it ever to check the actual measurements or get the stone properly evaluated. She's gorgeous as is, and I don't want any damage to her! I found her online being sold by a antique furs company. She belonged to an old lady who didn't want to be known as Miss Rocks at her new retirement home. She bought Edith decades back from an affluent CT family. She was the 2nd owner, and I'm the 3rd. I had to get the setting fixed up quite a bit by Claude Morady in Beverly Hills since she had been worn next to a wedding band for who knows how long. You can hardly see where the setting got eaten up now, and the cracks got fixed . I used to baby her, but now I think she's survived over 100 years of torture, I think I can put her to wear without worrying too much
