Thank you sweet blossom! :))

The last time I saw this thread it was on page 9 or so & here it is at 24!!!! I love all the gorgeous eye candy, here is some of mine. :cheeky:

I've had a few new items arrive in 2014, notably my WF 3 stone reset, who also recut the center. It's now a 1.61 with 1.8 TCW sides, I love it!

I then purchased MayK's roses gold DBTY--I happen to see it on LT, it had been up maybe 20-30 minutes or so, feeling very fortunate to have it, never take it off! Thank you MayK!

Another LT purchase was a WF 3 row 3/4 pave, again feeling fortunate.

I am still on the hunt for a pair of Edwardian or Victorian dangle earrings like GemFevers--one of these days!

LOve the color and cut on that sapphire! Gorgeous!

I have so thoroughly enjoyed browsing this thread the past couple of years! Many late nights procrastinating doing dishes and writing school papers have been spent here. Just realized while doing some fall cleaning of the jewelry box that I should be shameless, too. Seriously though, I may need to seek some sort of treatment for this FC problem I have.

Thank you, Missy! Everything is vintage, previously loved. The onyx and french cut ring (Greta) I purchased from Jewels by Grace after admiring her for months and months. My all time favorite ring that girl, she makes me so happy! She has .70 cts of G/H french cuts plate set (I think) in the center of the onyx. Grace suspects the ring was once part of a set of cuff links, then later converted to a ring. Size 7.5.

The top ring on my middle finger was purchased from Redwood66. She had it laser sized and engraving added to the exterior and it looks flawless (no visible sign whatsoever of sizing)! Original engraving on the interior of the band dates it to 1917! Size 7.5 and the stone details escape me at the moment.

Just below that on my middle finger, another ring I picked up from Jewels by Grace pre-loved (originally sold by Single Stone). I had her bench add milgraining to the edges, and it turned out better than we all expected. Also G/H diamonds, total weight of 1.15 cts. with a few abraded stones. I had it sized from a 5 to a 7 5/8 and I am kicking myself constantly over that, as I have yet to find a size 5 for my pinky that is not too wide, and it is driving me batty! On the plus side, this one is my go-to for stacking, so the quest continues for a pinky frenchie.

And now the pinky predicament...as mentioned, my size 7 5/8 was originally a size 5, but I purchased her as a stacker, not a pinky ring. That is, until I brought Greta home and a pinky ring suddenly seemed so fitting. In my quest I purchased the top ring pictured on my pinky. Authentic Art Deco Tiffany totaling 2 cts. of G/H VVS & VS stones. Perfect in every way imaginable. The problem? What was sold to me as a 4.5-4.75 turned out to be a 4.25-4.5. Bottom line - too tight for my sausage fingers. Also, at about 3mm it is wider than Ms. Pinky can handle.

Below the Tiffany is my latest acquisition; a size 5.5 with just over a carat of G/H stones all in mint condition aside from one tiny nick on the table edge of one stone. It is thinner than the Tiffany band, so I am happy about that, but about half a size too large, so I am concerned it may slip off. For now I am holding on to it, as I figure it is easier to add a bit of metal to tighten the fit than to size larger without damaging the ring or diamonds.

Not a finished piece (yet) but here is my old cut diamond collection. I have pieced this collection together from multiple sources over the last year. The bottom one is about 7.15mm, next row sizes range from 3.8 - 4.4 mm, and the smallest row are about 2.6mm. All eye clean & in the I-J range. I have grand plans, but keep getting cold feet when about to pull the trigger, and teeter on the fence between two design ideas. :errrr:

It's going to be a few more weeks before it's ready, but I am super excited about this!! 1.72 K VS1 OEC in a classic platinum double claw prongs solitaire with French cut sides and milgrain. It doesn't show in the CAD, but there will be engraving on the basket. [emoji4]
