First time posting this 2.36 I medium fluor AGS0 you all helped me pick.

It looks bigger in the first two pics than it really is.

Camera picked up color not seen in real life.

Big credit to Phoenix's Holly for the inspiration. My original setting had a lot of metal blocking light and covering the stone. This reset is almost the opposite of it. I wanted a very delicate 4 prongs with an open design so that I can view as much of the diamond as possible. When I saw Holly I knew that was what I wanted! I sent my jeweler the Leon Mege R5726 video and together we created something very very similar with our own twist. I don't know the measurements of the Leon mege but we made mine with a 1.9xmm wide ~2mm thick shank with the edges slightly smoothed out. The claws are slightly thicker than I wanted but the jeweler recommended against any thinner. (I originally wanted single claw but the jeweler talked me out of it. He was not comfortable with dainty 4 claws x 1.9Xmm shank combination.) The double claws are made from 2 separate claws that merge half way down. The ring is 18K white gold, hand forged. I gave the jeweler permission to make any minor adjustment on the claw, donut, shank etc. as we both wanted the setting to compliment the diamond in opposed to rigidly following the measurements. Therefore we didn't have very precise specifications upfront, just the overall vision and outcomes that I wanted. It turned out to be exactly what I had envisioned.

Thanks GB! The profile of the LM inspiration looks similar to mine, but the width of the ring is definitely thinner than mine and overall looks a lot daintier. I'm in love with those double prongs, and you're right that it really lets the light into your stone! Now I'm contemplating if I should look into seeing if I can get my single prongs changed to double...

Here is my pear! We just had it reset into this gorgeous channel set baguette WG setting...it was previously set in YG (from when I liked YG), but the white definitely shows off the colorlessness (is that a word)...

Shameless describes my obsession with Barry Bridgestock's cutting. These are all mine except the green tourmaline on my middle finger (a ring I put together for my mom) and the fishtail pronged green tourmaline halfway down my ring finger (recently sold). Since this photo was taken, I've also acquired a blue supernova tourmaline (on its way to be set!) and a smaller aqua in a bezel pendant.

HOLY CRAP. Those are ALL BB?! I know what you mean. I always drool at BB stones' pictures online, and I have *one* BB garnet that just makes my heart go pitter patter. I'm definitely jeally! What an amazing collection.

That's cus everyone on PS is just as nuts as I am, and we all have hundreds of bling photos on our cellphones! You're in luck. After seeing Phoenix's crazy picture, I went out and did my own mini-Phoenix pictures. I don't have many colored stones, but I took one with a few loose stones and a ring my paternal grandparents gave my mom when my parents got married! It's just blurry like heck cus I didn't want to walk downstairs then outside with loose stones balanced on my hand!

Endless Summer- I'm curious how you take those fire shots, as well! I tried to catch some fire, but as soon as I get a great flash, my camera lags, I move ever so slightly, and the picture comes out with no fire. It's so annoying!
