What''s your favorite shaped diamond?

And of cushions and rounds, which do you prefer more? Do rounds show up bigger than a cushion with the same weight? Are rounds the most sparkly of the lot?

Thank you :)

It depends, well cut rounds are considered to be the best overall for performance, as to which faces up larger we would need actual comparisons and diameters between a round and cushion. If you want a diamond which looks large for the weight then perhaps consider ovals, pear, marquise as these can look large for the weight.

I suppose for my preference, I would vote for a round diamond but I also love chunky cushions!

What Lorelei said. Except in my case I like the more modern cushions, not so much the chunky ones.

I like pears and ovals. I also prefer cushions to rounds. Not to offend round lovers but there are so many rounds out there that I find other shapes more interesting to look at. I do understand why round lovers have them though. Who wouldn''t want the sparkliest diamond on the block.

Cut-cornered square (step cut)
Cushion
Rectangle (step cut; cut cornered and baguette)
Round
