Hi there - hoping this community can help me in calming my nerves about my (not yet received) engagement ring. Together my boyfriend and I decided on a 1.5ct round diamond with delicate halo and diamond band. My ring finger is a size 6 and I'm now worried that this size won't achieve the look I was going for.

Would really appreciate it if anyone with a round diamond / halo/ size 6 finger could share their ring to give me more perspective on how it would look on my finger.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures; although there is a robust thread out there with a ton of halo ring pictures.

I think 1.5 carats with a halo will look plenty big. Just remember - the pictures here are deceiving. Everything is taken at magnified sizes, up-close, so everyone's ring looks bigger than it does in real life.

I had a 1.5 carat transitional in a really petite halo (Tacori 2639). Round halo version of the popular Tacori 2620. Image on right. Left was original solitaire.

Mine is pretty close - 1.6 ct, size 5.75-6 finger. The halo is half-pointers.
