I've got Alexandrite (of course)Painite, Taaffeite, Jeremejevite, Bixbite, Serendibite, Benitoite, Pezzotaite, Cuprite, Japanese iridescent garnet, Hauyne etc. All were posted years ago but I removed the photos a few years ago when I saw a seller using my images! Don't know if it counts but I've got a very large Pezzotaite also. I guess it depends on what your definition of extremely rare stones is.
This is my new grandidierite. It has the same colour and glow as some of my Paraiba which I was so surprised about. I’m trying to think of a design now! Sorry for the photo - it was a windy day and I took a risk trying to photograph it and in the end panicked and took photos through the plastic!

Not actually sure! That one is definitely up there, two other contenders off the top of my head:What is your rarest?
Not actually sure! That one is definitely up there, two other contenders off the top of my head:
0.37 ct vayrynenite, from Pakistan. Unfortunately this one has a surface reaching inclusion so it’s not very stable, but it is a fine collector piece!
0.44 ct pastel pink poudrettite from Burma. Most of the (already extremely rare) poudrettites on the market are cut from a large colorless crystal that was found in the early 2000s. This guy is pretty big for the species and an uncommon color, so I’m pretty sure it surpasses the benitoite in rarity.
I’m also currently scouting out a Zektzerite, so that might be our new winner eventually!
My super rare neon green Russian demantoid, no treatment. It is almost 1ct (0.95ct) and would be about 2ct if it didn't have this spot right in the center. Because of this inclusion the price was good for me to buy my dream stone in this color. It got a very warm welcome in group Inclusions on FaceBook one year ago. I am going to set it since my daughter says she loves the stone for what it is and will proudly wear the piece of jewelry after I pass away.
Another little stone is super rare and very small. Deeper green Russian demantoid, 0.51ct, 4.8mm. The seller loves taking pictures of such rare stones on top of the US dollar bill. Already set in 14K YG cute solitaire ring.

Love that vivid orangey pink colour!
It is that same gemstone, yes! The bicolor is amazing, really interesting little guy.I saw a similar one on thegemtrader.com recently I think - the same one?
Thanks for sharing, bet with that cut its crazy dispersive. I have yet to find the perfect blue one but I have a couple oddity pieces. Here's a bicolor and a heated orange. They are in the 0.6-0.7ct range. The blue is a little darker in real life.

Yeah, it has an interesting shallow (but not windowed) shield/oval step cut and several naturals (intact original rough skin) on the underside of the stone which are very cool under a loupe.
Here is the finest bicolor I've seen, 1.83ct with a great split - owned by @poetry_in_stone (instagram account is private, so screenshots instead of a link)![]()
