That''s not me, it''s a stock photo... I''m a little chubbier, but I must admit it was the first dress I tried on that finally made me FEEL like a bride. Everything else looked frumpy-grandmother-of-the-bride instead of happy-second-time-mature-bride. This dress did it!

My bouquet will be 2 dozen ivory roses, and my shoes are aubergine!!!

So I haven't been around PS much since getting engaged, but I thought I'd wander back in to show off the wedding dress I bought last month. I'm not used to this spiffy new layout so hopefully I'm doing it correctly ^^

It's a Mia Solano, I can't remember the style exactly. It's a little small which is why the fabric is pulling, but I'll have it altered here in a few months. LOVE it!

The pics do not do it justice. The embroidery is in a gold and silver thread that takes on a light champagne color and the fabric is a watersilk look that you can only see in evening lighting. I love this dress!

I know quite a few of you saw this, but keep in mind, i have no tummy sucker or corset on in this pic.. Also we are altering the top to a sweetheart instead of straight across, and..... there will be no black ribbon on it.. It is a VENUS dress, and the color is called Mocha, however it is not mocha color at all, more ivory than anything! my mom bought it for me and i cant wait to put it on again when we do the alterations

Well my wedding was almost two years ago, but this is a fun trip down memory lane!

My dress is a Carolina Herrera. I got a great deal on it because it had been ordered by mistake, I think the bride never picked it up or something like that. It had never even been tried on!

I love all of the ribbon detail, I had kind of a ribbon theme going.

I miss my dress waaaaaah It is so cruel you can only wear the most beautiful thing you own once!
