I'm looking for a 3.5 carat shared prong wedding band with round stones all the way around. Tiffany showed me a beauty for $14,500, average H and VSI. I've looked everywhere and have gotten prices from $2,500 up to $12,500 on Bluenile for an ideal cut. Local place today showed me white gold, 4.21 carat weight, H and VS2 for $10,000. Leon Megre (sp?) gave me a quote for a 3.5 at $6,500 for an H and VS1..nothing about cut. Help!!!! The Tiffany certainly sparkled. I've read on the Leon M site that platinum is the only way to go. Since the jewelers seem to only talk about H and VS1...how can I find out if the cut is a great cut? Confused!!! Also...a few choices for the setting...if I order online..how do I know the setting is comfortable? tia.

Check out www.thefacetscollection.com That's where I got mine, it's 3.38 TCW stones are ideal cuts.. It's very comfortable. They are E-F VVs2. Great quality, I love my ring.

Thanks, Kaleigh. This is exactly what I want. Why is it well under 10,000 on this site and closer to 12, 500 on Bluenile for similar? Glad to hear yours is comfortable, tho, as buying online that makes it a bit difficult.

I would also contact Lesley at Brian Gavin Diamonds. They have some beauties and the quality of the diamonds should be excellent!
